English- 3rd most popular. It usually ends up quite a closed game, or can transpose into a reversed Sicilian as in the game and that is precisely why some people play it, to use their Sicilian Knowledge, but with a move in hand.

I can't say this is bad, but it does leave the d4 square weak and something like Nf3 seems good.

I think this is the Great Snake Variation. Quite playable.

u mean d3 and it would have to be played at sometime yes, but what he chose is fine.

But that takes up your own Knight's best development square and it's to soon for him to play Nd5 anyhow. On the other hand this supports a d5 push, which u probably didn't consider or else u would have put it in the annotation.

I don't go a bundle on this move. 5.Nge2 protects the other knight and it's where the King's Knight wants to go anyway. The bishop move can wait until White organises the K-side (g3, Bg2, 0-0).

Ever heard of not going for a King Side attack??  

With this formation, Had White castled Q-side, Black could just about fancy his chances of "getting in first". White could aim for a K-side attack - indeed his setup allows him to decide where he wants to put in his main effort, K-side or Q-side. 8.0-0 was fine.

Although that is the sort of non-objective statement a lot of weak players make, u do have really strong pressure on that f2 pawn.

Maybe 12.Na5 improved White's chances, forking Q and bishop. If the Q moves, 13.Nxc5. If Black tries 12...Bxf2+ 13.Rxf2 Qd4 14.Qe1. Black's f6-knight has no square available at g4 or h5, dare not sac at e4, and 14...Nd7 is met adequately by 15.Bf3. Oh, and the knight defends b2 as well!

This was a mistake. Being able to move the f pawn forwards with the support of the g pawn would have been very useful for white later on.

Bg3 or straight away Nxc5 would have been stronger (just having a quick glance at the diagram).

15.Nxc5 <Black retakes> 16.Bg3 looks OK for white, although in this closed position, the knights will be very handy pieces. White could reverse the move order by playing the B-move first. ******* Having said that, is 15.g3 really a mistake? White leaves the h4-bishop stranded, which could become dangerous, but he's also attacking f4-rook. After Black's response, 15...Rf7, White could have played: 16.a3! Qa5 17.b4! Qc7 18.bxc5 (Naxc5 19.Nxc5), winning a piece, or 17... Bxb4 18.axb4 Qxb4 19.Qb1 etc.

...the pin could be very embarrassing. Meanwhile, White stands to lose his h4-bishop. Can it be saved?

But White still can save the situation and win a piece by 19.a3! (19...Bxf2+ 20 Rxf2! Qa6 21.Rxf7 Rxf7 22.Bg5. Otherwise 19.a3 Qa5 20.b4 Qa6 21.bxc5 etc.
