This move loses at least a piece. It's common for the side with the underdeveloped passive position to make tactical blunders like this.

 
16. Nf7
Black may as well resign now. I'm threatening Nxh8 and Nd6 .

 
16... Bf6
Black could've easily avoided losing a second piece by letting me take his unimportant h8-bishop, but now he will lose not one, but TWO pieces.

 
17. Nd6+ Kd8 18. Nxb7+ Ke8 19. Bxa6
Black resigned. I am winning by a whopping rook bishop, and there shouldn't be much hope for Black recovering. Sacrificing one simple pawn in the opening proved to have a great effect on my game.
