I would do this as well. Sometimes I have opponent who resign 1 move befofre I mate them. That frustrates me a little.

Hmm, l-d-j, at least your opponent resigned and you won the game - that is the main thing. I remember announcing #5 on somebody a year or so ago on gameknot and I listed all the possible variations and set up conditionals for the lot, except for the obvious #1. My opponent played into the obvious #1 and offered me a draw, no doubt hoping I would hit the wrong button. I was having none of it and just put Glenda on the mating square and hit submit - whew!

You did much better against Freddy than any of my past games, infact I will resign my current game anytime now, unless there becomes a mate.

I've got another game going against Master Freddy right now, just started, and I hope this time I don't blunder away any pieces. I'm sure he'll still find a way to win, that's why he's a 2300 player, but I'd like to make him earn it.
