i was aware of the trap but there was no way out anyway so i just played along. it was a need trap so why not show it.

  I was pretty sure that you saw it as well. I think it only added to the visual appeal of this game to the casual observer.

In the sequel, Black can not avoid the loss of the knight and subsequently the exchange. The attempt to drive home the a-pawn is held (rather cleverly) and soon White forces a wholesale exchange to enter an endgame a rook ahead. All this in the next 10 moves or so.

i gave up at the end. there was just no way to turn things around or a draw on the horizon. the last game i got outplayed in such way was my game with merlino And i am still sick of that one   because he whas somehow a 1800 player with a 2400+ rating

The loss of a game is always hard to endure, Freddy   Anyway, nicely played Alex !! And a great annotation; keep them coming please !

Forgive my way of writing, sometime I just enjoy to comment (I am a teacher, you know) but I'm not doing a proper analysis. Thank you for pointing out my "blindesnesses". This was a fantastic game and annotation, thank you for sharing. I appreciate a lot the time you spent on it.
