Doubled pawns can be very strong in defense, unless you can attack them head-on. It's their attacking potential which is weak.

I agree with chesstigger, trying to trade off the pieces is the way to go. His King is too far away to defend all those pawns from your remaining minor piece + King.

Your king position forces the draw. If you had some way of sheltering it, or getting rid of one of his rooks, you would have winning chances.

Taking with the bishop would have taken away h6 for my rook, preventing the perpetual check. I knew that 37...Kf8 was a better move than Kh7, but the best thing I could do in this position was to hope for a slip-up, which White (un)fortunately did. Had White taken the e3 pawn with the bishop, I would have resigned!

As I said, my main focus was to find some protection for my king. I guess I didn't do a great job in analyzing the position fully when picking my move, but I knew I could at least get a draw from either Bxe3 or Nxe3. So it was basically a mental coin flip for me. Did not see the winning combination, but that's why I annotated and had the game analyzed. But a draw against a good player I am satisfied with  

You did well with the comments ...... as for the game , with 2 extra pieces , I felt that a win might have been possible ....... but with the difference of a 200 point spread ..... your right , a draw was just fine .....
