It's not so much tactical errors that have led to Black's present situation, as the strategic decisions. Allowing White's d-pawn to become passed was probably the real turning point of this game.

It stops white's pass pawn and you can probably move your rook on b8 to c8 an semi-open file. This is what I think.

With this move you have to count on White's playing axb6 (though he may well choose some other, better, move). But if that is the case, why not look to 26...b5, in order to force a different kind of decision? White can still play 27.axb6(e.p.), but he would have to so at once. Otherwise he has to deal with the attacked Bishop.

28. d7! A nice knockout blow. If 28... Bxd7 instead, than 29. Nf7 would have won the bishop

There is also a mating net embedded in the position. Not realisable as such (yet) it remains to tie Black down and to create further possibilities of interest to White.

There is nothing for Black to do. There are no resource remaining but to await the axe. At least the 'mating net' I mentioned earlier is no longer 'on.'
