The fact is White has no good moves at all. The King is boxed in by the bishops, and once Black brings out his rook, he'll be hunted down...

black still has a 0-0   mayb e5 could have give you some space to go and you could have avoided the # at the K side. Now you are chased into a cave. In the open field you could have won some time perhaps. But of course you couldn't have stopped his pawns promoting ....

It is hard to assess White's play in this game, as the mistakes at move 9 and (worse) 11 were so decisive in their consequences. I don't think any improvement was possible in White's subsequent defence. But he could justifiably have resigned the game any time after move 11. As for the opening play, but for 3.h3, it wasn't too bad at all, leading to a quite recognisable Sicilian Kan System with colours reversed.

Thank you geniusacamel and jkarp! I know I've improved, but clearly there is room for improvement, but I'm happy with the progress I made so far. I'm glad to hear what you two said though, thanks! Also thank you everyone for your comments, suggestions, and tips, I'll so my best to remember them and apply them in my chess games in the years to follow  

Tips for you to follow: 1: Don't play h3 in the opening. 2. Calculate accurately so you don't lose material (like black's ...Nxc3 Qxc3 Qxg2 tactic). 3. Follow the 'Real Chess' thought process, which incudes consideration of ALL possible forcing replies.

great show of Mobility against Underdevelopment. I agree with archduke_piccolo that the game was lost too soon. I know myself that sometimes these things happens. Good to see that you tried to make the best out of it, although. However, especially at our level i wouldn't go with archduke on playing this kind of opening. An opening with simple guidelines is already difficult enough. When you reach the 2000 or more, you can go for the exotics :lol Until that time, learn the basics and learn them well ! Look for good guidelines for the different phases of the game. There is still a lot to explore   Thx for sharing this very instructive game !
