Nd7 instead assured black the defence of f6, and the resulting blocked in lsb could be defeloped via b7... but it doesn't look appealing to me. As for the played, if now white goes c3, he cannot go Nc3 anymore, making of the Nb1 a harmless piece (Na3, a6, and the N has no future).

The doubled pawns will happen now after the Qs exchange, and it happens to be the most active white piece. After the exchange, black will have targets to hint (g2, white's lsb...)

A mistake, IMO. White struggles for developement, which presents very slow. Nd2 would have as if to say: "B, do you want to exchange bishops? Ok, but you'll get a N instead, there, and I'll be able to castle queenside. Do you accept the bargain?". Another choice, Bb3, was also right, since if B exchanges B's, after axb3 the column is open for the W rook, and maybe, in a later stage, it would be helpful for white. White is exchanging his ONLY active piece, when black has B, N and in a move, a R ready to get into the action.

The doubled pawns are not much of a concern. If ever white wants to push his central pawns, they will be exchanged by e3. The only attack try can do white now seems Nb5 (via a3), but it is very easily stopped by the harmless h6. This looks draw. Players can go on, hoping in some risky move of the opponent unbalances the game.
