There are many places black should have won this game, but for white to come back and fight for the draw was tremendous. Interesting, but not the cleanest game.

I remember analysing it after the game and coming to the conclusion with the best play white wins - but with the time running out there wasn't much chance that he could find it. I didn't know the match score (even though I was captain no body had told me their result, and I hadn't wanted to leave the board to ask). After we had finished I found that we had won 3-2 so I was delighted that we had won the match. Yes I should have won it earlier - but that is the way the cookie crumbles as they say.
