Black develops a new piece but, alas this move ahs the curse the fatal drawback of all blacks developing moves; his failure to control anypart of the centre has deemed his developing move absolutely useless! |

Now we see the effect of Morphy's cleverly executed exchange maneuver, whites kinside force has been increased , Black's protective knight has evaporated and his King's position is stripped bare against a powerful attack. |

Morphy's superior mobility has the fantastiv quality that one infiltration leads to another. |

This game is a wonderful object in the eploitation of the difficulties arrising from the neglect of the centre. Morphy's utilisation of thye f-file is striking in its simplicity; but even more immpressive is the fact that the whole attack, powerful as it wis, stems from the basic strategem of opening a line of attack by means of a Pawn exchange. If ever you get to play Paul Morphy in some other life for God's sake don't neglect the centre! What a game! I hope you liked this game. I'm happy for positive and negative feedback aslong as its constructive criticism! and feel free to leave comments. One thing I would like you to do is before you rate this game please think honestly and think how I can improve on it and leave comments and PM me with them. Don't just give one and a half stars and not tell me why.
Thanks
Tom
