![]() 1.Nxf6 and 1.gxf5ch. Possibly in the context of those moves, 1.b4 might be worth looking at, too, to deflect the queen from the 5-rank. If the Queen doesn't take, the pawn pushes on to b5 to trap the bishop. Now that the g-pawn has been removed to g3, that makes a fair bit of difference, I think. Is 1.b4 Qxb4 2.g4 ... quick enough? Looks pretty complicated. E.g. 1.b4!? Qxb4 2.g4!? Nxg4!? 3.Bxe4 fxe4?! 4.Qxg4 ... and White looks to have a strong attack for hardly any material invested. But can either side improve on this sequence? |

![]() I had the order of my attack backwards. I was concentrating of my N on the rim. The option for the Q take or get her deflected was the better move and then b5 trapping the LSB. was over looked. |
