White moves 34.Kh2 Black plays 34....Rh6
The reason behind 34....Rh6 is 'Classified', subject to the Articles of War.

a move by J. Bond?
classified, etc, but me thinks this is a draw unless some of our highly rated onlookers think I can win (I don't).

No not that Bond movie, i meant, Dr NO!!

Missing move
Looks like Black played 35...Kf7. Looking to support a g7-g5 advance, perhaps?
@bwaa
Perhaps, but in this case, why having move the rook on h6 ?
not a g7-g5 advance.
black had considered before when the Rook was on g6 to play Rg4 followed by maneuvering the other Rook via f7-f6-G6 and attack whites g3 and h4.This proved impractical because white could intercede at g5 with his Bishop via e7. Ergo........
...Kf7
I was thinking the plan might be ...Kf7-f6 followed by ...g7-g6. My thought was that Rh6 allows for g7-g6 and Rh7, connecting the Rooks and allowing some lateral movement, but I am really having a hard time making concrete sense of 34...Rh6 no matter the situation, unless Black is planning a sacrifice of some kind.
May be it was a defensive move in case if g4 hxg4 Qxg4
@ptitroque
If she were concerned about g3-g4, wouldn't it have made more sense to simply leave the Rook on g6?
@bwaa
You're right. You might about the eventual sacrifice but I cannot see how it could work in this situation. Brigadecommander probably needs a couple of moves more. Whatever she planned, it seems longterm.

after 35....Kf7
white moves 36. Qf2 (not very innovative, but white sees no real avenues for a win). At this point my able opponent brigadecommander offers a draw, which I accept with delight. If anyone of the onlookers think 1) it was not a draw but won for black, or 2) won for white, I'd like to see evidence. Otherwise, I thank you all sincerely for taking part in this excercise, and I hope that you will be interested in and follow the next one, being now planned btw brigadecommander & yours truly.

A masterful defense
i saw no way of winning. But the next match will be held in the far more difficult terrain of the Dutch Defense. en.wikipedia.org. To begin in a week or so.

@brigadecommander
Nice idea for the dutch defense. I'm not fond of pawn walls. In fact I do everything I can to evitate them but I'm very interested in dutch defense altough I don't play it for it seems very trickery but I would like to, because it seems quite cool, like GM Myevilluck could say.

walls
i play the Dutch stonewall!!! sorry. But still its a more complicated wall.
@brigadecommander
May be stalhandske doesn't play the dutch stonewall, it seems to me that one must be two to play a stonewall. Even so, it's interresting to "see" you think.
