![]() I would agree with you, the second movement is also my favourite, but also the uplifting final movement! |

![]() There is so much to listen to. More often then not i have Beethoven or some other great composer playing in my headset as i look through my telescope. It fits somehow with what I'm looking at. and Boccherini was no slouch either as this romantic piece shows; www.youtube.com. |

![]() I can't find the Salerno-Sonnenberg rendition on Youtube, but Hilary Hahn is almost as good: www.youtube.com His symphonies are good too, but I am love with his tone poems. Stuff like "Scene with cranes" www.youtube.com and "Valse triste" from Kuolema ("Death") www.youtube.com simply knocks me over. No words. |

![]() I think you already know I am a huge Sibelius fan! His Violin Concerto is currently my favourite in the repertoire. I love the Hilary Hahn recording. His symphonies, I love them all. My favourite symphony of his keeps changing, but currently it is Symphony No. 6 is my favourite. I have the Maazel set, conducting the Vienna Philarmonic. |
