Ever so often it sounds artificial, strained, or weak, etc. But listen to it here, it sounds almost easy. This is the well-known beautiful aria "Salut de meure chaste et pure" from Charles Gounod's Faust. The high C is long and starts at 3' 50. The tenor is Jussi Björling (of course  )
