![]() But to show my appreciation for "who"I deem as having helped me out the most in this club, whether it be chess comments, research, the most chess posts, helping others out and general chess chat,I will reward the top two members of this club with a prize.Sorry,no third place!I will be the sole judge of the winners! The contest runs for one entire year starting now(Nov 2013) to next Nov 2014. -First prize: The chess book of your choice(under 40 dollars please!).You can look at any listed in the USCF link or anywhere else for that matter.Tell me which one you want.I will then buy it for you and send it to whatever address you supply to me.Send me a private message with regards to the address and do not post personal mailing info in the club forum. Or as first prize, you have an option instead of a book,to receive 1 year of Chess Life Magazine which would normally cost about $46.00 for the paper magazine to be sent to you.The 12 issues will be past dated(used) but in new condition, dating from Nov 2013 to next Nov 2014.Lots of nice articles on chess, game annotations,GM game comments,GM tournaments and much more.I may even throw in a few extra magazines, not sure yet.Lots of great reads in those magazines. The reason its not a new subscription for the prize winner is that normally, you have to be a member of the USCF and pay the yearly dues to receive the magazine. And you can't even be a member of the USCF unless you reside in the USA,Canada,Mexico and the island territories of the USA.So some club members do not reside in the USA,thus, they would not be able to receive the magazine anyway. -second prize: Whatever prize is not chosen from the first prize winner above! So you'll either get a book or 12 issues of Chess Life Magazine! Good luck to all! TA |

![]() By chance if you are already a USCF member and are already getting Chess Life magazine and are left with only a magazine prize,I will substitute a book for you with a value of $25.00 or less. |
