baddeeds 23-Jul-17, 14:22	I like these stats. I am shocked at what I saw this. In this case, it's nothing bad, but it's just about quality. As I thought that are/were a total of 30 clubs, at most. But, I counted, and give or take one or two, there are/were 152. Wo! What it shows is that GK is a good and popular website to have that many clubs on there.

baddeeds 25-Jul-17, 15:46	@the_jim: With the exception of 5 of those clubs. And, out of them, 3 which were obsolete, I have not found any sort of abuse in the club itself, if that's what you're alluding. Out of the 5, 4 were personal where it affected me. Out of those 4 that got to me, 3 of them is also what the founder and a moderator or two of the Fiat Flux Club members took note of. It was in such a bad way that I paired up with TA to end the extreme abuse which has, thankfully, happened. And, I'm not just talking about report abuse for a post here and there either, like what we've seen and dealt with in this club. Instead, I'm talking about where many posts in several different threads have had abuse. One of those examples is what JJ mentioned in the friends thread. And, in those instances, it was about bad things being directly posted about other players publicly. I am glad that, for now, those ordeals are over.

I knew the person (in one particular instance) in no way wanted her private information shared. On an amusing note, Comrade Groper doxed everyone who made comments on some White House policy issue recently. Quite humorous! www.slate.com Oh, it was on Groper's fraudulent claim of illegal votes used as a pretext for a national registry Republicans have historically opposed. I hate to come across as political--I'm really not. But lately it seems that if it doesn't epitomize hypocrisy it isn't Republican, and Groper's shenanigans are all over the map.

baddeeds 25-Jul-17, 17:05	It was, indeed, those three players. One of them (lordmonkeymouth) has closed down his account after being silenced. Being that he was previously on as mrmarmalade, to me closing his account down is a sign of bad news. As there is a good chance that he'll come back online again. But, I am ready. If and when he does, he'll go back on my ignore list to prevent him from applying to joining my club. And, if he becomes a team captain, as he did under MRM, mrmarmalade, I won't accept challenges from that team.

I was on a Club with all three for a short while. I was invited to join, but decided there was too much nastiness and silliness posted for my taste. The Club I was on was founded by an "Andrew", but he closed the club and left GameKnot. I think he came back under a new identity.

shirlmygirl 25-Jul-17, 19:51	Probably not. He is "silenced". I have been trying to get him "unsilenced" by GameKnot, but they don't see it my way. If he can see this thread, at least he will know that I have tried - twice. I think he may have had a run in with Andrew, but I am not sure of that.

baddeeds 26-Jul-17, 07:45	The bad news is that, as per what the founder requested, I had to forward what got reported to JJ. But, if you ask me, I don't really see anything in the way of GK rule violations. However, it has to be up to the founder of this club.
lord_shiva 26-Jul-17, 07:58	False Reports JJ does not do the knee jerk reaction of other club founders, I have noticed. If a post in fact violates rules, I have no issue with it being deleted. And the reported posts above don't contain any material I poured my heart and soul I to. I don't care if these are deleted, they are neither clever or informative, unlike other posts I made recently which were falsely reported. LS is such a bad man. Bad man posting! Beware, beware! It does hurt my feelings to create some clever, creative, informative and well researched content only to have it censored because it steps on a toe bearing political polish.

lord_shiva 26-Jul-17, 08:16	Deleted Post The deleted post noted that three specific users were noted for having their clubs rapidly closed. There wasn't any need to name the three users, so I "censored" that post. I enjoy conversing with two of the three, I have had no personal exchanges with the third. I also don't know any of the particulars on why these three were silenced or their clubs closed. I suspect it had something to do with mild harassment of GK management. I greatly enjoy conversing with people in these forums, and would hate to see the clubs closed on the grounds they proved too much trouble to continue. I tend to make more posts than moves. For this reason (and because the rules are reasonable and should be respected) I avoid making bad posts.

So, had you not deleted it, it would've remained where it was. But, I respect your decision for what it is, lord_shiva.

baddeeds 22-Feb-18, 17:15	I want to thank JJ for providing all of those links in the first post of this thread. After the Fiat Lux club closed down a member of the Chess Problems Lovers club thought that everything was lost. But, due to those links, I was able to find the one from Fiat Lux and post it in that thread. As a result, I was able to keep things preserved, and the member thanked me for that. But, it would not have been possible without the links.
