Speaking only for myself and in no official capacity whatsoever, I equate the Smart Challenge to several teams at GameKnot who post "Sister" teams or teams with whom they are "friends". To me the Smart Challenge is nothing more than a group of teams who respect one another and are on friendly terms with each other. The Smart Challenge has had no impact on my challenges or any other aspect of my team. The only change for me has been the listing of the other teams on my homepage. To what end I am not sure other than a recognition of a working relationship with those teams. If I am missing something and there is more to the Smart Challenge of which I have no knowledge, I would welcome the enlightenment.
shirlmygirl 24-Aug-17, 22:49	I am certainly willing to play The Crusaders team, but I do not want my team name displayed as a part of the Smart Challenge. In my opinion, it suggests favoritism, and I don't want my team regarded as favoring any team, although I certainly do have many teams that I like to play, have good relations with, and have a high regard for the captains.
apatzer 25-Aug-17, 04:27	The only way that a the so called "Smart Challenge" would impact us. Is if they exclude playing any team not on their list. Effectively creating a shadow ladder within the existing ladder. That would be the only way I could see a problem with it. I do not think this is the case, however I have not tested it either.
bevo_xv 25-Aug-17, 06:37	Smart Challenge Again speaking only for myself as captain of the Global Bounty Hunters, we do not and will not show any favoritism toward "Smart Challenge" teams in pairing. We will challenge all teams equally and we are open to challenges from all teams. The Smart Challenge, to us, is just a list of SOME (not ALL) of our friends.

Like Shirley I did not want our team name posted on many team pages. Some I may not agree with regarding match making philosophy. Maybe this helps recruiting new members to the teams that "joined".
