While political discussions won't be entertained on in the new club, no one is forcing anyone to read anything. I am sorry you don't enjoy books, ShirlmyGirl. If someone has something they need to say breaking it into three or more little posts doesn't make any sense to me. But your other recommendation I believe is advised, even if it is the political threads that are the most active. Even you posted more on the political threads than the others. This is exactly why the club couldn’t continue as the captain’s club; that and gameknot wouldn’t have allowed ownership transfer. This club can become whatever we may want it to be. I just want everyone to have the understanding that will be largely unmoderated and in the world of captains, well that’s a recipe for disaster. I will be back full time one day, perhaps as early as fall of 2022. Otherwise I’ll peek in from time to time. I only have three games left to complete so after they’re done I won’t even be visiting every third day anymore and more likely weeks will pass between visits.
