joveyboy1 01-Oct-20, 12:36	When a Team Disappears I know how others can get busy in one way or another and struggle to keep up with their teams, I am certainly one of them, but I think it's hard to see a team suddenly disappear, especially one that is well known and that you start plenty of matches with. In the case of Lucifer's Army, I feel bad in a way as I feel I could have helped keep that team going. Of course that's really not possible for me to do, other than starting matches with them, after all I'm taking of a big team on my own already, but I've matched so much with Shane and had plenty of good chats. I guess it's just hard to see one of the biggest teams on Gameknot that I matched with so much after all this time suddenly not be there any more.

classica 01-Oct-20, 14:37	They are now team 1234 - all the matches are continuing. I am very sorry to see them go. They should have merged the team into Spartacus team with bearz or some other team.
baddeeds 01-Oct-20, 16:47	I don't know what happened but have also had a match, every so often, with Lucifer's Army. And, I also feel bad that this happened.
shirlmygirl 02-Oct-20, 10:03	I looked for the team yesterday. Mikemate told me they were gone, but I could not find them, either on the active list or the nonactive list. I see that Classica says they are now team 1234. I will take a look. I do not know the reason for it.

shirlmygirl 02-Oct-20, 10:51	Thanks, Charlie. I see the captain is the only remaining player, so perhaps he removed his players before he closed the team. Certainly, no other explanation is given. I believe that he will remain on the team until all the team games are finished. I think that is the rule, but he probably won't mind. He can still play his games, and he probably won't want to start another team.

kingseabass 28-Oct-20, 06:49	Nooooo!!! Lucifer's Army was one of the easiest teams to get matches going against, and they were always good and fair matches. I loved playing that team. Very sad to see them disbanded. Wish the best to Shane and his former teammates.

joveyboy1 17-Dec-20, 17:28	Other Disappearing Teams I think there are three fairly well known teams that have recently fallen: Speedtouch International (Though the co-captain created 'Speedtouch Mark 2' so in a way this team is still around) Weaving Spells - Our Chivalrous Knights (The captain disappeared and now recently closed their account. Most of the members have left) The Empire Strikes Back (This team did so well without their captain thanks to their co-captain, but now the captain's premium membership expired and it seems doubtful he'll be back. It also seems the team is now merging with Knights Templar...at least several members have now joined that team, so I'm only assuming) Those three teams I matched with plenty, especially The Empire Strikes Back. A shame they are basically no more.
