Who's at Number ONE
Shane OF COURSE

Congratulations to my Very Good Friend!

He works hard for his team "Lucifer's Army"
And I believe he does this on his own without
Co Captains!

I love to see a good friend at ONE!

Hope my team is at ONE for Christmas

It is very significant to me that Shane's team represents The Devil, all that is evil on this earth. Personally, I don't play the team, even though I like Shane himself.

Maybe Shane can explain as that would be not nice
If it's true!

Interestingly to me the team "Speed touch International" is at 17
Which is great in my view for a team of under 20 players.

Hope they can continue to ONE!

Will be interesting to see who is at ONE at Christmas Day!

Shane knows very well how I feel about it, Jimmy. I have told him at least twice.

Perhaps suferdude is correct. You are engaging in PR (public relations).

PR lol and Fred?

Shane and his team is about a creature in Australia

He states that!

Shane should make it clear if you are correct or wrong!

Lucifer666 is The Devil, Jimmy. Lucifer is (not was) the exalted and beautiful angel cast out of Heaven for rebellion against God, and a third of the angels joined him and were cast out with him. Lucifer is likened in the Bible to a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, KJV. It is immaterial whether or not you or others believe this as it is a spiritual issue. I am not saying that Shane follows the Devil. I have suggested to Shane twice at least that he changes his chess name and his team name, but he likes them. If he likes them, he is entitled to them, I suppose, as long as GameKnot doesn't object. It has amazed me that so many players want to join his team.

Just an additional thought. Does that picture on Shane's team page suggest a creature in Australia, Jimmy?

From Shane's team page:

Noted Shirl!
You are correct to point these things out!

Shame on you Shane you can explain though!

26-Nov-17, 15:06

Poor Shane. I am actually starting to feel sorry for him for jumping on him. The ball is in your court, Shane. Jimmy says you can explain it. :} Shane will probably say that it is all in fun, but I prefer to steer clear of that fun.

Jimmy's a good friend, Shane. He is standing up for you.

Lucifer is the Father of Lies, so whatever romantic notions anyone has of him are in all probability absolutely wrong.

Here is a story for you.

There was a young man, who chose of his own free will to follow Lucifer. He read lots of material about him. Material that said... the self is most important... And hell is where you can do anything without limit. However after this man grew old and died he found out that everything he had ever read about he'll and the devil was a lie, as he was tormented by demons for thier pleasure of self. And he was just meat cattle to be burned and tournament by the fallen angels that were by far more powerful than him.... he was helpless...utterly and hopeless.

Well one day Lucifer himself walked by. The man who was once a boy screamed at him... YOU LIED TO ME.... You tricked me!!! Bastard

Lucifer laughed and said. Why is it that you complain? You chose to come here, I never forced you.

The Boy said well I would not have if you hadent lied to me.

Lucifer said, yeah and that's hell now ain't it boy!

I don't actually believe there is a place called HELL in which people
suffer.

I can say this here and point out why, but I would not be allowed to stay
in a religious club as I see the Bible as it is, not how many people want
it to be.

Okay, After a person has died is he subjected to punishment for his sins.
The Bible at Rom. 6;7: "He who has died has been acquitted from his sin.

The Bible is Gods words and at Jer. 7;31: "They [apostate Judeans] have built
the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, in order
to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not
commanded and that had not come up into my heart."

If it never came into Gods heart, surely he does not have and use such a thing
on a larger scale.

Hell is for Children
Why would God create a place of eternal darkness and spiritual torment for sinners just like you?

I say it that way because it is part of a line from "Life of Brian," as Brian, sought by Roman legionnaires, walks past Prophet Row. Actually, the camera pans Prophet Row, and Brian falls on one of them, taking overr his position so as to blend in, chameleon fashion, with his surroundings.

Was hell created for giggles, for comedic effect, or to scare children? What purpose is served by it? "You chose poorly, so eternal darkness and torment for you, ha ha!"

So Glad
The Jim beat me to it.

We could not enjoy this free exchange of ideas elsewhere--I was booted from the Bible Club on two different occasions for my innocent comments and questions.

But the question remains, what purpose is served by eternal torture of the damned? We can see it, maybe, for notoriously evil people like Adolf Hitler or Donald Trump. But what about the church lady who spent her entire life volunteering at the soup kitchen, and who only thought she had made a decision in her early childhood but in reality never actually did, or she made a decision but is was the wrong one--she joined the Church of God, same as her parents, instead of the proper Assembly of God? Why does she merit the flame and pitchforks?

"God's ways are not man's ways, and what God decides doesn't have to make a lick of sense to us, that is just the way it is. Be thankful you have this 'get out if hell free' card."

I really enjoyed the posts from both The-Jim and Lord Shiva.

However I do have a question for you both.

If I created a server and was running a chess site or a massive multiplayer rpg or let's say a forum. Then I set rules for how players should conduct themselves. Do I have the right as owner and operator to permanently Ban people from my server? Despite what they think? And despite what they choose to belive?

The answer is yes. So perhaps Hell is simply a place people go to when they are banned from God's server.

I am so glad to see the above comments because neither I, nor my denomination, believe in an ever-burning Hell. However, we do believe that those who do not believe in God, and sinners who have not repented and confessed, will be burned up when Lucifer and his angels are tossed into the Lake of Fire, Rev. chapter 20. All of the first category will be slain "by the brightness" of Jesus' second coming and the saints (those who believe in and are looking for Jesus) will be "caught up", even from the grave, and taken to Heaven with Jesus, 1 Thess. 4:14-18. That is the First Resurrection. Everyone else is dead and there is no human alive on earth to gather them or bury them. The Devil and his angels are confined to the earth where they cannot influence anyone for 1,000 years. After the 1,000 years, Jesus and his people return to earth with the City of the New Jerusalem, and the dead are awakened. This is the Second Resurrection. Then the Devil is "loosened" and now he has people to lead. His people. That's where Lucifer's Army comes into existence and the Battle of Armageddon. Lucifer, unfortunately for him, will lose this battle, and his, his angel supporters, and his followers final end is imminent. That's when Lucifer and his angels are tossed into the Lake of Fire, and the earth is burned, ready to make it new again for the saints. The wicked and unbelievers will be "ashes under our feet", so there is no prolonged burning and suffering as some people believe, Malachi, chapter 4. There is also a reference in the Book of Ezekiel to this effect.

With regard to Jimmy's partial post, as follows:

Rom. 6;7: "He who has died has been acquitted from his sin". This means that a person has "died to self" and become Christ's, because the next verse says:

Rom. 6:8: "Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him". NKJV.

And, Pasha, if you are referring to Mother Theresa, I am sure she will be there with the saints.
shirlmygirl
27-Nov-17, 15:14

I would say you are on dangerous ground with this way of thinking, Pasha:

Quote: "God's ways are not man's ways, and what God decides doesn't have to make a lick of sense to us, that is just the way it is. Be thankful you have this 'get out if hell free' card."

Perhaps this is why you were booted from the Bible Club twice, once by me.

Btw Jimmy the Jeremiah verse you mentioned. Is from a time that some of the Iseralites were sacrificing Children to Baal. So you have to know the context the verse was referring to.

Please read Matthew 25:31–46

It is written do not ask on your heart who will assend or descend Romans 10 6-13.

Many people of faith wrongfully proclaim that this or that person is going to help. Etc etc..

Many have used the word to thier own ends and many have been very bad examples...

It is my privilege to introduce to you the new team at One!

At One now
Its DACII LIBBERI

Cool for them a team of 39 players who keep hitting ONE!

I struggle to match up against this team as the Captain
keeps sending challenges to his advantage.
No problem as its up to me to accept or decline.

The Captain is doing a good job for his Team!
Making many two player challenges

Teams that make many 2 player challenges
will stay high on the ladder.

There is a division between teams who make
the many matches and those who don't
The teams that do, stay high
The teams that don't
stay low
Just my opinion
