I am rather "ticked off" about his despicable post on the PEOPLE WHO CHEAT thread, July 24th, which has now been deleted. If knightemplar-1 had just kept quiet in the first place, and ALSO not published his derogatory description of this Club on his team page (it is still there, by the way, I just checked), the entire subject would just have faded away with no further comments. He stirred up the situation again. He must have had a spurt of anger when he saw my post immediately above his now deleted post. The sight of my name triggered it. The man doesn't even have the good sense to remove the post from his team page. He is including every member of this Club in that description.

As a Captain on a team ..i expect that removal from the smart challenge would be easy ...but then we do get the BLOCK. from him . Teams that have changed their name...LOL...are still on it,and hey don't exist. Hmm I'm not here to argue nor make waves....but he need to listen to other teams requesta... And Hello Shirlly.... mikemate 11-May-20, 18:47	My post right above Shirley's is true! I just experience it after sending a very reasonable challenge that was eventually responded to by substituting one of the players I requested. unfortunately the substitution was a much stronger player with 18% timeouts. I declined with a note asking if the player I requested was 3 day instead of the 5 day as challenged. The response was "It's OK, Mike. Some SMART CHALLENGE captain is going after him in a few minutes!" So now I know.

The player I requested that he did not assign, that he said would be assigned to a SMART CHALLENGE team, is still available, presumably waiting to scooped up be "Some SMART CHALLENGE captain". So, I could not get the match because we are not in the SMART CHALLENGE.

And I...may have blown my top a bit on the Captain there, when I misunderstood him on something. I still hate that I did that. I’m pretty sure my team is no longer part of it though. Their list says otherwise, technically.

The intention was to automate the the players matching and give 10 teams' captains & co-captain more free time to do other personal stuff. I selected the best 10 teams in GK that i had been dealing with since 2005 almost in a personal way. Those 10 teams became the founding fathers of SMART CHALLENGES. As other captains became aware of the existence of this kabbalah, I couldn't refuse their requests to join the group. 10 became 21. The only requirement was to have the management of each team to go through the kabbalah to initiate challenges before challenging teams outside the group. With 21 teams, our 40 odd captains and co-captains had it made... in less than 15 minutes they could find any number of games needed for their players. I had placed my team at the top of the list, so I was the first team that EVERYBODY hit when they got out of bed in the morning. 21 teams were far too many. The original 10 would have been ideal and really enough. I have asked the group that if any member wants to leave, for any reason, to please do it without any prejudice. We are now 16. There are outside teams, like Lucifer's Army, who use SMART CHALLENGES as if they were a member and, I for one treat them as such. We are an elitist group by definition by giving 100% percent priority to Kabala members. Each captain handles this player-matching system on his own terms. One of my "rules" is that I make Friday through midnight Sunday exclusively available to members. Any other time is First-Come-First=Served. Your team is very welcome to challenge the 16 teams listed in THE CRUSADERS page. SAM _____________________________________________________________________ After reading this do you think that the SMART CHALLENGE "has nothing to do do with you" as stated by Sam.

Personally, I never play that team and I have had the captain and co-captains on ignore so they can't challenge my team, since Sam's disgraceful posts on another thread quite some time ago. He doesn't seem to be able to help his behavior and doesn't have the good sense to know that this behavior affects his team and any team associated with the Smart Challenge. Most of those teams, I believe, do not know the history but I do know that some teams have asked to be removed from Smart Challenge.

urbanascott 13-May-20, 20:15	Shirley is correct. Our team did indeed ask to be withdrawn from that group. It was set up before my time, and when I started asking what it was and realizing we got nothing out of, Classica and I agreed to immediately withdraw from it. From what I could tell, we never got a match out of it. I personally didn’t like the clique concept and could not understand why I would want to limit our team to just those few teams in their group or give preferred status to someone. Don’t tell Sam, but we match with some of those teams anyhow. I personally made matches with five of those teams in the last week. Didn’t need to be in a clique for that.
