For me I don't see any problem but some advantage. The character in subject line are much bolder and Other people instantly know what you want to say or do and don't need to sift thru in message if it is very long. Please elaborate, how do you want to improve GK web designs? canktuff, do you feel like I am killing you but your smiling faces prove otherwise. Thanks for your joke, I guess. Take it easy folks.

Similar to facebook, I would like GK forums to have the capability to put pictures in the Message boards because people use to say. " A picture is worth more than thousand words."

I thought we were discussing about chess moves but I was not aware that CoP was criticizing GK of poor web design in her opinion. Whatever it is I think the word " stupid " will be tantamount to name calling which nobody will like to hear. Trump is in trouble now because he farted out, " shithole countries." For example, if one say," You are a stupid jerk. I don't like your stupid move or opinion" how will you feel. There are different ways to communicate. For example, if you say," That move is a blunder in my opinion" is more acceptable. Not only you express your opinion but also explain how your move or opinion is superior compared to that of others. Look at the example in the following diagram that we already played. After 12. Ne5, Black can capture White's Ne5 by either 12.---Bxe5 or Nxe5. Somebody suggested that 12. Ne5 move is very good because Black will capture with N and will lose one piece due to a fork created by White's e5 pawn after capture. If I say," Who will make such a stupid 12...Nxe5 move ?", how will that person feel ? Whether it is true or not is irrelevant. The person will be very angry, because I will be name calling him that he is stupid or an idiot.

A person that is intelligent does not have to make any effort towards that end. A person that is intelligent is usually identified by their good manners. Lets be nice!!!

ace-of-aces 21-Jan-18, 20:59	I vote 16.f4 to drive the N away. Current position after Black's 15----Nf6 move. I copied this latest position. The ideas is to eat c6 pawn by 17.Nxc6. Black's c6 pawn appears to have no protection and so we can eat with impunity plus slight advantage in my opinion.

elyhim 22-Jan-18, 07:18	I have an idea! how about 16. f4 Ng6 17. Nxc6 Qd6 18. Nd4!? The advantage is that we keep our very strong knight. Here is what I see 18. Nd4 Ne4 19. Rc1 Or (18... Rac8 19. a4 Rfd8 20. Nb5 Qe7) ) in both setups white is doing fine. In both variations there is plenty of traps that black must avoid.
canuktuff 22-Jan-18, 09:33	alyhim /Nd4 variation i like your variation ! but if it was me alone playing .. i take out black knight on e4 (i just dont like enemy in my territory ) lol so here how i see it Nxc6...Qd6 Nd4 ...Ne4 Bxe4..fxe4 a4 ...Rf7 Nb5 your variation is stronger for sure !! but it is just me and my style ...i try to avoid deep play but yes i will vote for keeping the knight stronger in play on Nd4 !

canuktuff 25-Jan-18, 08:03	Nxc6 ok ..rest of the world decided to play Ned7 which was expected but i think Ng6 was better ..however ..we still continue our plan of Nxc6 ..but i dont think we can go for elyhim suggestion of Nd4 after black play Qd6 ..because black is forcing us to exchange Bishop xa8 .here is the sequence i see that i am not in favor with ...Ned7...Nxc6.........Qd6...Nd4 ? dxc4...Bxa8 but for now i vote of continuing our plan of Nxc6

However, with good moves Black can also equalize in both positions. Black Nd7 cannot capture Ne5 because of White e5 pawn fork after capture. If Black jumps 18....Ne4, 19.Bxe4
