Introduction:
The Mr. M's Man Club is based on the premise that over-moderation is the surest way to destroy the spirit of an online forum/club... Every man/woman should be responsible for their own actions and given the chance to redeem themselves if a topic gets heated or choose to live with the consequences.

I'd prefer if all potential insults were crafted with the use of unique, creative language.

This is not a debate club, per se, as I have little interest in political/religious arguments... However, feel free to openly expose those who profess vast knowledge and/or clear understanding of topics clearly out of their reach.

If you have an area of expertise, please advise as real men covet learning about diverse subject matter.

Thanks for the invitation and the acceptance. This is a club whose forming has been long overdue.

This is going to be like "The Blue Oyster Bar!" is it?

this is the club that Gameknot had to have

while it may have the lifespan of a housefly I'm sure it will be an exciting ride!

LOL
@ Chilli.... I have no doubt you're very correct.

you know what they say M

it's better to burnout than fade away!

I have this recurring thought that I cannot shake as I wonder to myself, "Who will be the first to bring this experiment crashing down??? Me or Postalpeet?"

24-Jan-14, 13:44

my money is on you lol
mrmarmalade
24-Jan-14, 13:48

Yeah, the "smart" money sure points in my direction as I have a history to support this conclusion... However, PP is pretty new to the club scene and is showing glorious signs of potential meltdowns... I think the odds would be Mr. M @ -3.

me? Just because I've been thrown out of two clubs already in my short GK life, there is no need to raise me to your obviously much more highly skilled level, Mr M.

BTW, the guy with the handcuffs on his shoulder pads at the blue oyster looks suspiciously like my vision of Mr M.

PP - you won't last long here, enjoy it while it lasts.

Yeah PP especially with ur fondness of GAYFL

24-Jan-14, 19:39

LOL...I'm trying my best to get tossed, but I have serious odds to overcome in Mr M

Gents, I live in Cali, you gotta do what you can to survive...

...BTW, I've been to SF; with all the gays there, those ladies are hungry for straight men even if they are homeless. It's a paradise even a wanker like Mr M could enjoy.

say what you like about M, but don't ever disrespect Tom Selleck!

dude, I'm biting my tongue...

Just call me Johnny Cakes, PP.

I've been lifting weights long enough to probably bend you over with ease...

24-Jan-14, 20:57

Mr M, you'd be a great "fit" in SF then.

Catching me would be the trick. I ran track in HS.

...have you ever given thought to moving to the left coast? We need more straights to balance the load. But then you'd need a larger paycheck as costs out here are out of sight. Your skill on barbells would make getting a sugar daddy pretty easy...but careful when they ask you if you'd like to see their gerbil collection.
mrmarmalade
24-Jan-14, 21:06

Lol! Costs are out of sight? Yes, I'm a down-on-my-luck NYer, ever dreaming of a life in California, if only I could afford the rent. I suppose I could 'w****-out' and let a John Travolta gerbil climb into my rectum, yet I fail to see how infiltrating your fathers collection of vermin will prove my manliness.

meh, my Dad is a paragon...dull as burnt toast too. To date he has not been tossed from a single club...and I'm going back 8 years.

...I'm the degenerate of the family.

dude, you're straight, rent is NOT a problem, the cougars would keep you as a house cat.

Quick question:

According to your dad's profile, he has been a member of GK since 2013. What username was he utilizing in the early-mid 2000's?

postalpeet
24-Jan-14, 21:22

His original handle was wrecktangle, then the_borg, as wrecktangle was verboten for some weird GK reason (I think these GK guys live on Jupiter and abduct guys like TA to experiment on). He then reincarnated as wreck_tangle.
mrmarmalade
24-Jan-14, 21:26

Yes, but that doesn't account for his profile... Many folks have changed username; their original date of inception does not change. It's a constant.... Strange.

Anyway,
my chest hair needs tending and it's time to apply some self-tanning lotion... Nite nite, y'all.
postalpeet
24-Jan-14, 21:35

He got into some dust-up with the GK Nazis...left, tried to come back as wrecktangle, couldn't, then restarted as the_borg, stopped playing for a while and I then convinced him to come back and play on my team. He doesn't play in a lot of games and is probably better than I. His team game win % is fantastic as he plays tournament games like blitz chess. He did lose one game to a timeout tho. In a few months he'll probably top our leader board. He puts like 15-30 minutes into each team game move.

I thank Mr.M for accepting me into the Man's Club. I'm looking forward to talking about MEN's issues.

I'm in, bra... However, I don't look very good in leather, IMO. I'd prefer to attend in my usual attire; blue jeans, preppy sweater.

Good Day
The greatest ideal of a man that I had growing up was Captain Picard. Sure, I had Tom Selleck (my mom loved that show) and Scott Bacula (thanks again mom) and...wait, you know what? The only reason I watched Picard at first was because of my mom, too. Well, I guess I owe my ideal of a man to my mom. She liked those guys.

But she didn't have my sense of humor. I make jokes that Picard would never make. I've never lived up to the ideal. But I want to. I want to be a good man. That's my only claim to membership of this club. If anyone can help with that then I will listen to them. Otherwise, I'll make fun of their wardrobe or perhaps their grammatical errors.

Damn it, that still sounds gay. I'll throw in a few f***ing swears, that should do it.
