That's just stupid. I haven't heard the word bossy since junior high school.

Some women are bossy that is why we have a war on women.

Stinky,

I find it curious that this video bothers you so much. It clearly is very upsetting to you, as you have posted it in several clubs with expressions of disapproval.

Why this video, in particular?

This
video is stupid that's why. Trying to ban a particular word. You think that's good? Its silly to make the word bossy an enemy.

A better video would have just been just don't bully at all.

Since
I cannot delete my goddamn account and have little ability to refrain from these effing clubs, I guess I'll weigh in with something.

The video is annoying and encourages me to use the word 'bossy.'

Bullying? "Bullying," is an overused word for the weak of heart and mind. I was bullied by many of my elders growing up... Even some teachers/coaches... You didn't hear me crying like a pussy, then or now.

Agreed
There are much better ways to get these points across. PSAs such as these make me laugh and shake my head. I am not what one would call highly educated, but I do pride myself on common sense and this video sorely lacks any resemblance of common sense.

My two cents.

Hmmm
I am seeing a clear violation of the rules here. I wonder if it will be reported

Mistee
I hold education in itself in high regard. I hold common sense even higher. An education without common sense is wasted. You can however have common sense without higher education. Biggest downfall is the job choices suck without a better education.

Stinky
1) I encourage rules violations... Send me off into the sunset, please!!!

2) Don't go stroking those with degree too much. There is nothing inherently complicated in obtaining BA's/MA's.

MrM
I know what you mean but I really pushed my kids to get an education. Even if its not complicated you can get a better job. I wanted them to do better than me. So far 2 have.

Sorry MrM, I will not report you. I have never reported anyone and I never will. Suffer along with the rest of us.

On public service announcements in particular......I agree with Mistee that there is a probably a better way to get a message across.

Regarding gender issues and "bossiness".......In my experience, what is interpreted by one person as being "bossy" will be interpreted by another as assertiveness and/or confidence. It's entirely subjective depending on the person.

Regarding higher education..... In my personal opinion it is definitely a mistake to teach the idea that people who go to college are "better" than those who don't. This is obviously not true. It is like saying that intelligence is an asset. Shakespeare did a good job is illustrating why this is not necessarily true..........
