As far as football goes, I have to be loyal to the home team. They have the nicest black, white, silver and blue jerseys.

I used to be a semi-follower and fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But that was a few years ago. I probably could not even name 5 players on the roster now.
I wish Alaska had a team. That may be some serious home field advantage.

RAIDERS
for over 20 years since british tv started following it and showing live games on sunday night.
Since their last super bowl win they have been crap but i live in hope.
Their best player for me was 53 Romanowski who was on the roster many years ago.
I chose the raiders because they play very hard but always just this side of legal.
sadly i was not well enough to travel to london for their trip a few weeks ago.

current uk tv prog is following the selection process for the dallas cowboys cheerleaders
Actually uk tv coverage shows very little of the cheerleaders

london franchise?
with success of more games in London there is more talk of a regular franchise team based in London. This would mean a lot of travel for games.
what do our American cousins think of this idea?

I imagine the west coast teams will love traveling all the way to London.
What is that, about 90 hours on a plane?
I can't believe the NFL will expand a team overseas but I guess there's no other reason to play games over there other than trying to set a base to do just that.

If there is a viable market and $ to be made the NFL is open to it. I would think the NFL is into taking advantage of the global market. If London works it would just be the beginning. Imagine the impact to the NFL if China became excited about having an NFL franchise or maybe a dozen.

The NFL should consider the South Pole Penguins like football. They just have to keep the ticket prices low.

Hey, the NFL could put a team down there.
Call them the Antarctic Adeles (that's a type of penguin for the uninformed)
Climate probably wouldn't be much different than what the Buffalo Bills play in.

Wembly game
yesterday (sunday 9 Nov) enjoyed the 3rd game at Wembley. Cowboys vs Jags.
easy win for Cowboys.
next year 3 more games. Jags have committed to 1 game each of the next 4 years. So they look fav to become the London based team eventually.
meanwhile back in the real world

Dallas Needed that Game
Dallas needed to beat the Jags to end their losing streak and set a positive tone for the week off. Romo, did well from what I understand this type of injury can be very painful. On the positive side for the Raiders it can't go on forever.

Eagles Lost
Dallas had a bye this week but the Eagles, got their tail feathers pulled. So now both teams are 7-3 and will be meeting on Thanksgiving Day to see who is the the turkey
