![]() ==================================================== Donald Trump and his perceived UK Moslem “Problem”. ==================================================== Quote I have been disturbed by the comments made this past week by Donald Trump, advocating the closure of U.S. borders to all Moslems until the U.S. government determines a policy which (presumably) is in agreement with his extreme views. End of Quote Solascriptura The view is not extreme, protecting ones family, friends and way of life should never be considered extreme but rather admirable. Quote I would not like our American cousins to think that what he says reflects the opinion of anyone other than a small minority of bigots such as those who plague every society. End of Quote Solascriptura So, let us look at the definition of bigot " a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person; especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group)" What is unfair about disliking "other people" who cut off heads, burns Christians Infidels) alive? What is wrong with not accepting or refusing members of a particular group that kidnaps, rapes, blows up buildings or straps bombs to little children and sends them on their way? I suggest that those in the majority seek a peaceful society in which we can raise our children, worship God and build a country which is the envy of the world. The exclusion of those that seek to destroy the very foundations of our Judeo-Christian society is commendable. Those that wish to bring the Caliphate State are vermin and should be treated as such. Quote This reflects the reaction throughout the country. It has become an unofficial part of our constitutionary process that anyone can start a petition for any matter and if this achieves 100000 subscribers it must be raised in Parliament. A petition to have Parliament ban Mr Trump from entry into the UK became the largest ever such petition within 24 hours (!) and it is still growing rapidly. End of Quote Solascriptura First point: something unofficial should not be binding on the members of a society that lives by the rule of law Second point: Instead of banning a spokesman for sanity, the target should be those who wish to institute a Islamic Caliphate State where the simple expression of free speech would bring sudden and sure punishment Quote On a more personal level, I have never (NEVER!) encountered a “problem” with a Moslem. End of Quote Solasciptura You are fortunate. Those victims of 9-11, Paris, San Bernardino were not so. Oh, least us not forget the genocide across Africa of Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I am sure their families wish they had "never (NEVER!) encountered a “problem” with a Moslem" Quote There is a significant Moslem population in the town where I have lived for 46 years - sufficiently large for Mohamed Ali (no less) to have had his marriage blessed in the local mosque some years ago. The last Moslem-related “race” problem in the town took place in 1929 !!! (and this against a background of economic depression). NOTHING SINCE!!! End of Quote Solascriptura I live in a parsley populated area in Wyoming, most of us have weapons which we carry in the back of our pickups or carry on our person. We have not had any problems with Muslims either. It doesn't mean their Islamic Faith is not a direct enemy of Christ. Quote I have had personal, business and social dealings with many local moslems over the years and invariably (invariably!) found them friendly, honest, trustworthy and sociable. End of Quote Solascriptura The local Muslim will remain "friendly, honest, trustworthy and sociable" only to the point where they do not have the reins of authority. You will then find the "friendly, honest, trustworthy and sociable" individual coming to your daughters with genital mutilation, wrapping them in a Burka. They will not be voting nor driving a vehicle. Nay once the reins of authority slip from the majority, then just as in Germany, the minority will bring atrocity and disaster on the majority. Quote Indeed I have to say that the possibility of Donald Trump becoming the next President of the U.S. horrifies me as it does many in this country. End of Quote Solascriptura The real horror is not Trump but rather the blind and foolish who do not recognize a cancer on society and simply waits until that society is living under a Caliphate State with Shari law as opposed to the great foundations of liberty which our present society lives under. If quick and sure action is not taken, then we will find ourselves not under the rule of Christ but that of Allah. I for one hope and pray a speedy end to this terrible scourge upon mankind called Islam. It has a clear and concise historical record across the span of time which is contrary to the values of western civilization. There can be no peaceful coexistence with Islam, the faith does not allow it. Quote Mr Trump’s comments are inaccurate, inflammatory and a slur against the U.K. I hope that these thoughts will have been enlightening to our friends across the Pond, and will in some measure mitigate the misinformation being propagated by those with vested interests. God bless you all. Solascriptura My final thought is our "friends across the Pond" need to wake up while they still have a society where freedom still rings and not enveloped under the banner of darkness which is portrayed by the very flag Islam wages war under. |
