Yes I am also willing to go along with that. I think there is some unwritten etiquette that says you must not take a look at our planning though Alex. Not that I'm suggesting you would.

We need a Club player to play Alex unrated
Let's wait until Monday to get game started. Figure if we get a few more club members we should give him a good game. Lets post some suggested rules to use in this vote game. As more people join this club they are welcome to take part in the voting. This is exciting and I look forward to our game with a high rated player alex_ratchkov
Thank You Alex for volunteering!

Fair play
I promise not to look in on this thread once the game starts, in order to keep things fair and avoid seeing any of your plans. If everyone is OK with the honor system on this, all we need is a club member to volunteer as the one to send me an unrated game challenge. Let's wait until after the weekend, as I am planning to be away from my computer over the next couple of days.

The only problem is that, I am not available for new games, as of the moment. But, I'm praying that we get another or someone here is able to do it.

Easy
But, not as much as, it might sound. When, I first did something to teach chess, I needed to learn how. So, archduke_piccolo taught me how to do this. But, you can also use what's on the bottom, and I've seen Alex do this as well. It's called the Fen notation. So, this is done when you click on the board, either with practice (like you saw in my club) or the position from the actual game. It has a link which is copied and pasted. But, in between there, you quote it. So, it's something like fen ", and the game number before you use that quotation mark a second time. From there, the position will appear.

Thanks Joe I think I've got that but last time I clicked on a practice board for fen I didn't know how to get the fen number in the post. Also if we are white how do we challenge Alex as a group?.

I'm not sure how to challenge him. I'd know how to do it, if this were a simultaneous game. But, the problem is that he needs a volunteer, and I'm not available. Assuming he is, I think that the solution is asking redfoxrising if he's available for new games since that was mentioned in another club.

Fen used to post
To pick up the fen number for posting purposes, you left click it to open, then right click to highlight it, then cut it or copy (whatever option it gives you in the right click options), then go to the place you want to post it. Enter fen=" and click on paste. The fen should appear. Then you insert the closing " right after the fen numbers that appear. Leave no unnecessary spaces. Then you click on Preview and you should have your board which you then Post. It can be activated by clicking on it. Much easier to cut and paste if you a keyboard rather than a touch system.
