Just sipping some martinis, while simply annihilating my 1200 opponent below with the other hand.I even had my glass up to my lips drinking while clicking on my destroyer moves with my right hand.See,the trouble with these broken wall of death games of mine,is that none of my opponents, even the 2000 rated in the blitz room, seem to know how to proceed against my psychological nightmare!I mean, take a look at move #5 below, before blacks 5th move.As white, will you know exactly how to proceed and win in only 5 minutes?Easier said than done!My opponent resigned on move # 35,but he should have resigned much earlier. His control of the center and attempts at some hollow advantage on move #12 checking my King was matched with a superb masterful move of mine on move #13 ...Rg8.Kind of an ex-ray attack in advance without doing the ex-ray!

I think I am up about 11 points by the end of the game.

These setups of mine actually par very well on 1 to 3 minute games on another chess site that I play on.Well, most of you guys do not play blitz, and that is ok.But as a novelty,i'm sure you may end up having a bit of laughter or a smile after reading up on some of my doomy, gloomy games. Not gloomy for me,however!Bright and sunny! Now where are my blue colored shades and the rest of that martini?Waiter! Can you give me a manicure as well?

So what the hell do you do when you see my wall of doom and gloom setting itself up on my second and third rank and coming for you?Just pay little attention to it and go along your merry way developing as you see fit? That is a fine "recipe"if your recipe does NOT have bad ingredients in it!!!!Notice my 1617 rated opponents recipe "attempt"at center pawn control backed up with Knights? No,that recipe is like putting sauerkraut on your vanilla ice cream!!!!No good...yuk!!!!

See below:

This game opening pattern was developed by several of my blitz pro associates over the last few decades. We all experimented with them at the Manhattan Chess Club as well as online outside of GK.Not to mention about a thousand games at Washington Sq park! Its fast, especially in 1 to 3 minute blitz! Its confusing and used as a quick kill to those who get easily mesmerized with this "hypnotic pattern"of pawns. What to do?How to attack or defend?Shall you exchange or not,how to exchange?See,the pawn patterns when they eventually interlock can get quite complex. So,its not for the faint of heart!I may leave some diagonals open, but then,I can almost always block those diagonals or counterattack at the right moment.Over extensions usually dominate my opponents recipe of disaster.

I can easily go over the proper "recipe"for this type of game if you are interested. It is not beyond the realm of playability in your long corrsp games either...well under 2000 anyway!

Enjoy the "hypnosis"!Can you defeat the wall of Doom and Gloom?Meet me in the blitz room one day and we will see!

The hypnosis continues....
No annotation necessary here only proof and evidence of what I am writing about.
Below,we have an almost 1900 rated player.Weak opening of mine with the "wall of doom and gloom"....right?Or is it?Game over in a measly 8 moves!Look upon my wall as a kind of loose swaying, buckling, ultra sharp arcing prison razor wire fence with a gale force wind blowing the fence wildly slapping at you from all points..while you raise your bare hands trying to stop it from slapping you in the face!Good luck...1883 rated player!

Experience with weaker openings and irregulars is my life specialty.Look upon it in another way.You have a 44 magnum pistol with a 10 inch barrel and special military style armor piercing bullets, extremely deadly and you have 100 sharp shooter trophies, you never miss and you can hit the eye of a needle from 200 yards away, but you are now standing only 10 feet from me and we are facing one another.Your pistol is in your holster(like the westerns) ready to fire on me.Your intent is not only to shoot me,but get me right between the eyes....and yes,you have those 100 trophies to prove you have the ability to do it!Now,I only have a WEAK 25 caliber pistol with regular bullets, practically a pea shooter! My pistol is simply sticking out of my front pants behind my belt, sloppy looking and appearing amateur like. The guy with the big gun and tons of trophies laughs at me,feels very confident that he is about to knock me into the next world with those bullets. We face each other, ready to draw like the old westerns.Silence while we both wait for that moment. 512 thousands of a second later my opponent with the 44 magnum is dead! How,why? What the hell?Even a very weak weapon can kill just as easily from 10 feet away, especially if my opponent underestimated my weapon drawing speed as I pulled it out of my pants! My experience with the lighter 25 caliber "pea shooter"from decades of practice made me one of the fastest draws on Earth!Much faster than my opponent! So his powerful weapon was useless against my speed and experience, regardless of his "accuracy".

Get the analogy readers? In chess, not knowing how to proceed in obscure uncharted waters, creating loss of tempo moves(like his move 4 & 5)and allowing my wall to slap him with a fork on move #8,dropped him fast..and all I used was my weak 25 caliber handgun!

Kapish?Good!

Standard wall of death position after move #4:

Last position with the fork,(move 8)and my opponent resigns:

Nice quick shootout! Is an 1883 player a weak player?Absolutely not!

Motto:

So what the heck happened here?Hypnosis, brain freeze and not knowing how to expect the unexpected. That is what happened! So even a 25 caliber weapon in the right hands can kill(my wall of doom and gloom) even against some dude with a 44 magnum if he is not fast enough to swipe away that razor wire! Now,what was that your thinking about my weak silly dumb opening moves?Hmmmmmmm.
