Turtois and the Hair
This is a very famous story. For those that don't know, when it comes to taking your time and not rushing, I think of it as that story. Given that there are days to move here, my model is what the saying goes which is that slow and steady wins the race.

My Rule for Me
I have developed a rule for me. I never move the first time I look at the board. I will make some notes of what I see or note a couple of potential moves, however once I have done that I then move to another game or log out. The next time I log in I can if I choose move at that time or continue to wait. I have found this helps me from jumping at what appears to be the first good move. I have found that often once I log in the second, third or whatever time I find a better move. This method has helped cut my blunders way down to almost nil.

that's not a bad scheme Penguin. i see u only have 2 games in progress, so u have plenty of time to evaluate various moves, so u might as well use it.
