Mother Nature
I did mention it in my club, but then, closed the thread for new posts, as I worried too much. As I was lucky and everything passed. But, this string of bad luck with weather dated back to my first or second year on this website. So, some are familiar with this pattern. gameknot.com The reason for posting here is because of what's about to occur. So, I am considering setting the vacation. Though, the last time it happened, I did not lose power. As it turns out, the entire area is now under a Blizzard Warning. At first, I thought it was just a Winter Storm Warning which would keep as much snow but not the wind. But, the wind is coming further up. I know that it will be fine, and if worse comes to worse, I can always bring the laptop to the library. What I know is to not fret too much over this. As worrying would also cause me to rush and take away what needs to be concentrated on which falls right into more or less the same thing as when I had too many games going on once. So, yes, being prepared is good, but you don't want to get overworked on this.

BTW, the forecast calls for 12-20 inches on top of the wind.

Update
I have postponed. Even if I don't lose power, I still have my mothers birthday in less then a week. Plus, although I've got a vehicle made for snow, I don't think I'll be able to make it in that much and certainly not in a Blizzard. This means that might have me come in on a day off. So, between all of that, I think that this is the best approach and answer to all of the problems. If I'm still to be in danger of timing, they might do an emergency postponement like they did with flatus77 in the consultation game. Plus, I might wind up trying to get to the library. But, I assume that everything will work out with an 8 day postponement.
