Let's hear Groper apologize both to them and to her first, and then serve out the rest of his life in prison for his many crimes.

When mocked about it, she had her DNA tested, and it was found that she indeed had American Indian ancestry. Unfortunately, those techniques are not very precise, so the range was given as 0.09% - 1.5%. The American right has only focused on the lower limit, which is 1 per 1024 and only one half of the mean Native American ancestry among European Americans. But the higher limit in testing Warren's DNA was 17-fold higher than the low limit, which is 1 per 67! A very dirty partisan attack on Warren in my opinion.

They don’t understand that in a population of 100, with one full Native American and 99 with no Indian blood, the ‘average’ person has 1% native dna. It’s a meaningless stat to anyone who understands math at all. Anyone using that as ammo is a fool with no comprehension.

Cognitive dissonance at its finest. Here’s a study by a bunch of biased libs. Most of what they say in the study is biased by their politics. But this part I like. I’ll just cherry pick a couple results, ignore the researchers conclusions, and make up some off the cuff assumptions to explain away the parts I don’t like and explain why only the part I like is valid. Cool!

Thumper claims MOST Americans have native American blood, given the average is 1%. I cited research showing this was false, and explaining why. I don't think any of them understood it. Maybe for the same reason they cannot modify their speech patterns to better fit in with any group to whom they are chatting. Elizabeth must apologize for telling the truth, while Groper need not apologize for his insults, racial epithets, and attacks on Indians. His desecration of ancestral lands, and his antics against competing Indian casinos.
dmaestro 09-Dec-18, 08:54	This isn’t original analysis on their part. It comes from right wing sources who spend their lives twisting facts in a convincing way. All they are doing is repeating it. Because they have come to trust these sources. In the USA the average person is older and subject to information overload and rapid changes. Culturally we were taught there are simple solutions to complex problems. So the right wing storytellers aggressively create an easy to grasp appealing narrative and divert the story and cherry pick to support it and attack those who question it. That is why Trump was so successful he mastered that approach. He understood how to exploit the way that population processes information. They have effectively destroyed Warren’s chances with mythology. What liberals need to do is stop thinking the right processes information like we do and act accordingly. Romans in particular said he is free to interpret however he wants. Keep that in mind.

stalhandske 11-Dec-18, 06:23	Anti-science bigotry It may not be of interest here, but I got out of the new club when I realised based on posts by thumper and romans8384 that they both think science is full of crap. I knew romans8384 thought that, based on his expressed views that anthropogenic global warming is junk science and Darwinian evolution is garbage (or was it the other way around?), but I decided to leave when I realised that this type of views were shared by the founder of that club. There has been intense criticism by some against anti-Christian bigotry which has led to people leaving clubs. The above is exactly analogous: anti-science bigotry.

You can see by my responses there that my patience is being pushed also... I just wish logic were a little more common. But I’ll keep trying I guess
