Religions
i was talking to a gentleman named Ali yesterday. Ali is a Muslem, so I imitated a discussion about one of my favorite subjects -- God.

We had talked for about 10 minutes or so when I asked him the question: "What's your opinion of other religions -- His immediate response: "I love ALL religions".

It got me to thinking because I merely RESPECT most religions.

What's your opinion of this remarkable -- possibly near exclusive Muslim phenomena?

I think he has a very healthy attitude.

"Love" can be a dangerous word. I don't 'love' even my own religion; I love the God that my religion tries to describe.

Even 'respect' can be tricky. I certainly don't respect a cult that requires human sacrifice. I might or might not respect the people involved in it as persons, but not their cult.

But I can certainly learn from all religions. Sometimes the good features, sometimes the bad side as a warning.
