Jesus does not rule Earth
Satan is the ruler of our world! Satan once showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and all the glories... Satan then promised Jesus that all these things I will give to you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me. SEE Matthew 4:8, 9 AND Luke 4:5, 6.

Of course, God is the creator of the universe SEE Revelation 4:11, but nowhere in the Bible does it say that God or Jesus is the ruler of Earth.

In fact, Jesus referred to Satan as the ruler of this world, SEE John 12:31; 1430; 16:11... The Bible refers to Satan the Devil as the god of this way of life that we are in, SEE 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4

The world is lying in the power of the wicked one SEE 1 John 5:19

I believe that no Presidents or Government persons in this world do actually deal directedly with the devil, but due to greed, sex and all other mankind weaknesses, they the people in charge become easily corrupt!

The Devil (formerly Lucifer) was prince of this world before Christ died on the Cross to reconcile us to The Father, but Christ's crucifixion and resurrection defeated the Devil. The Devil's fate is determined. The Lake of Fire is prepared for The Devil and his angels (those angels who took Lucifer's side against the preincarnate Christ, Michael, Captain of the Host, who is referred to as The Archangel Michael, THE GREAT PRINCE, in the Old Testament (Daniel, Chapter 12, vs. 1-3). I could post more on Michael, if you prefer.

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write; for these words are true and faithful." Rev. Chapter 21, vs. 1-5, NKJV

"And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defileth, neither he that worketh abomination, or maketh a lie, but they who are written in the Lamb's book of life?. Rev. 21:27, NKJV.

There is no doubt that this world is indeed very wicked. The Bible says that the end times will be "as in the days of Noah".

We should have some new members to give their opinions (on the Bible, not politics).

New members would be nice, but we need to stick with the Bible and true matters, not silly things like "UFO'S"...…

Shirl I am a bit confused about the Archangel Michael and so as you stated that you can let us (me lol) know more about him, I would be truly thankful.

God Bless You Mum2

The following are some posts about the Archangel Michael that I made recently on the Traveler's Bible Club that Ian and I founded, Jimmy. You will probably find them interesting. I recently saw another scripture in the Old Testament with similar wording, without the word "durst" or "dared", but I can't remember which Book that was. I am sure it was one of the major prophets. Perhaps I will find it again. Mum 2 X.

Yes, I do know that, Ian, and am expecting it at any time. Even though the United States seems to be doing very well at the moment, especially its economy, I am waiting for that time to commence, and it probably already has. There is so much wickedness in the world. Genesis 6:5-7 states that, before the Flood, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them." NKJV

Daniel, Chapter 12 announces: "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the GREAT PRINCE, who standeth for the children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars forever and ever." Daniel 12:1-3.

Daniel and Revelation are coordinating Books. I have heard arguments in our Church that Michael is not Christ, but one fact really convinced me that He is. He was the Archangel Michael who disputed with the Devil over Moses body. Moses is in Heaven. He appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus. Michael had the power of resurrection. He resurrected Moses. The Archangel Michael is Captain of the Host, and The Great Prince, and is Jesus in pre-incarnate form.

With reference to my post above concerning Michael, the Archangel, the reason that people argue against Michael being the preincarnate Christ is the scripture Jude 9, "Yet Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, DURST not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee". NKJV

I think this is an incorrect translation of the word "durst" or "dared". I think the word should be "did", hence "did not bring against him a railing accusation". 2nd Thessalonians, chapter 4, vs 16 states, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of THE ARCHANGEL", and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first".

Michael had the power of resurrection, probably the only "angel" that did. He raised Moses from the dead.

Thank You Shirl :)
Amazing as I believe MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL is JESUS. However, I was confused about this, but now you have put a light out there and you have helped me to understand!

I am really thankful for this!
