China already has Social Credit Scores. We may not have them, yet, but the infrastructure is under construction.

Kurzweil predicted a tech singularity, and while not there yet, the progress incline is getting steeper. These new gov upgrades may not be like just shiny new computers, but bring with them planet changing power. The question is about whose hands this tech will fall into eventually.
