With no-bail and defund the police promoted by some candidates, I am concerned about how NYC will look when we host 8 World Cup games and the 250 July 4 celebrations,in 2026. The free buses won't work because it's a state issue. Gov run grocery stores will face massive resistance. The Jewish community hates him. He also likes the idea of ending private property. The city may become less safe. This guy is going to have so much resistance from all sides, it's doubtful he, or any other mortal, can effectively be a mayor of NYC in that setting - but who knows?

If those polls are accurate either Americans will be facing similar demographics as those in Britain or we will witness justice for the political crimes now being investigated by the FBI. Personally, evidence suggests IMHO because our military is supporting the American President martial law will not allow those "peaceful protesters" which the Deep State's depending on to let them get away with the treasonous crimes they have committed. Britain's military is in the hip pocket of their own Gov't so no such rescue is possible for those citizens, unfortunately.

valley_forge 08-Aug-25, 11:49	Hear Me Out Trump is hinting that he wants to use the Naional Guard to stop the crime in D C and secure the Capital. This comes at the same time he is investigating the Deep State cabal and a grand jury is being impaneled. What if these two things are connected? If Trump is actually going to follow through on high-profile arrests, he is going to need control of D C. He will need complete security to pull off arrests, military presence would give him the ability to mask movement of high-profile targets, and he will need the National Guard in place preemtively to shut down any riots or uprisings, because the public will probably be outraged if certain high-profile individuals are arrested. There is going to be a “corruption purge” here in the United States simiiar to the one in Saudi Arabia in 2017, Trump taking federal/military control over D C would be necessary. Food for thought.
