In response to Apatzer's post @ 31-Aug-25, 08:03

Sir, thank you for your honesty and transparency.

We ALL have battles and difficulties to one extent or another.

In my life right now my wife and I are going through the aftermath of an accident she had last week while working for Uber.

Texas doesn't have good laws regarding insurance requirements for drivers . . .!

We're getting our new beautiful car repaired fine and dandy. However, she really was hurt because an old back injury was aggravated 😭 . . .

We don't KNOW what the future holds for her being able to work again . . .

But we're choosing to give God thanks 🙏, and asking for His help moving forward.

We're at peace about the whole situation.

I am very sorry to hear this. I will keep you and your wife in my prayers. I hope that those responsible are held accountable and that you receive the support your family needs to find some measure of normalcy. Back pain is serious, and I sincerely hope a chiropractor or doctor can help ease her discomfort and bring relief.

"Lol, that made me smile. I'm sorry about that. "

Great post. We all exist in this environment and must face the challenges that are. Living is hazardous to our health. We do the best we can and hope/pray for the best. But, what will be, will be.

I need to correct my 8:03
Or rather modify it . Everything still holds true, but I must add that I have one role model I look up to—Jesus, as you likely know. His example continually inspires me to become a better version of who I once was. And is the true measure and teacher.

Researchers suspect alien probe disguised as asteroid
The possibility of alien technology raises significant cultural and philosophical questions. It challenges our perceptions of humanity’s uniqueness and prompts reflection on our role in the universe. How would the confirmation of extraterrestrial intelligence affect our beliefs, values, and sense of identity? These considerations are as important as the scientific implications, as they shape our worldview and future interactions with potential extraterrestrial civilizations.

As we continue to explore the mysteries of interstellar objects, these questions will remain at the forefront of our minds. They remind us of the vastness of the universe and the potential for discovery that lies beyond our current understanding. The pursuit of knowledge in this field is not just about answering scientific questions but also about expanding our horizons and contemplating our place in the grand tapestry of existence.

Just as the Earth is one infinitesimal speck in the grand scheme of our galaxy and our galaxy is one infinitively small speck in the infinity of galaxies throughout the vastness of the universe, Jesus Christ and the one small religion called Christianity is a blip in the sphere of all possible religions located throughout the vastness of an infinitively large possibility of existing religions.

What does other intelligent life think?
Given the vastness of the cosmos and the infinity of galaxies in it, along with the limitless number of stars, planets, and moons within those galaxies, the chances are astronomical that the universe is littered with life... especially intelligent life.

Then when you consider that this small, insignificant planet Earth, that exists in a "backwater" non-unique and non-important area of one non-descript galaxy has already had one species (mankind) create and imagine several variations of religion.

I'm wondering what other intelligent life in our galaxy think about their existence, their origination, their purpose and what goals will they have set for themselves. Would they believe there is a God or gods that created them? If so, would that be the same God that Christianity believes in? Or would it be the God of Israel? (Those aren't the same God, are they?)

Is it possible that they would have the same God as us? Or might there be several gods, one each for the various planets with intelligent life?

Or, do you think the Earth is unique in the universe and is alone with any intelligent life?

Is there really nobody who has any interest in discussing what the ramifications of finding other life in the universe would mean to humanity, to the different religions, to the psyche of Christianity?

I find it difficult to believe that nobody has any ideas or has no interest in discussing it. Is it so difficult to think there may be other intelligent beings out there and that they may have developed their own religious beliefs?

Are we truly alone in the Universe and the God of Israel has created everything just for Jews... or was it for Christians? Were all the previous humans made in error and their religions and gods were to be discarded?

<< Is there really nobody who has any interest in discussing what the ramifications of finding other life in the universe would mean to humanity, to the different religions, to the psyche of Christianity? >>

IMO, as a long time student of the Christian faith/ and the Christian Church the impact 'to the psyche of Christianity' would only expose those 'nominal' Christians who are not in a good relationship with God through faith in Christ Jesus. Also, IMO, asking this question clearly demonstates (which is surely your preogerative) the lumping together of all religions as a superstitious world view.

Saying that to understand that discovery of a bona fide proof of alien life, yes, that would definitely put a bee in the bonnet of most religions.

<< I find it difficult to believe that nobody has any ideas or has no interest in discussing it. Is it so difficult to think there may be other intelligent beings out there and that they may have developed their own religious beliefs? >>

Whatever other religions beliefs aliens may be known by humans, IMO, these beliefs are only false narratives which are the product of demons or the fallen angels. There's enough evidence available to show that fallen angels were responsible for the building of ancient pyramids, including the mysteries associated with these pyramids today.

Answering these questions from my POV can only be done with references to my faith in Jesus Christ and his Holy Word. If you are interested in engaging with me and my POV I will, okay?
