Did John Darby "Invent" the Pre-Trib Rapture? youtu.be Video is 24:05 From the video description… <<So many have been convinced that John Darby was the first to teach a pre-tribulation rapture in the early 1800s. The connection between this Bible teacher and Margaret MacDonald, a young Scottish woman have been proven false. We can clearly see the pre-trib rapture in the pages of Scripture, but why did christians move away from a premillennial mindset in the first several centuries AD? Today we discover what happened, who was responsible, and where John Darby discovered this doctrine.>> |

![]() Here are those verses in the KJV… “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” (Daniel 9:24-27) In this prophecy, a week = seven years. “Daniel's 70 Weeks, The Rapture and The Tribulation” youtu.be Video is 7:09 From the video description… <<The focus is on Israel and the last week is around the corner. Brothers and sisters, are you ready? Important Note: 1 Week = 7 Years Credit to Amir Tsarfati and most of all God for using him to provide such clarity 🙏>> Helpful written explanation of the Daniel 9 prophecy… <<THE SEVENTY WEEKS OF DANIEL AS UNDERSTOOD BY SIR ROBERT ANDERSON IN “THE COMING PRINCE” Daniel 9:24-25 says that from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem to the coming of the Messiah there will be 483 years. 7 + 62 “weeks” = 69 groups of seven years. 7 x 69 = 483 years Anderson understood a prophetic year as 360 days. This is based both on ancient history and on Revelation 11:2, 13:5, 11:3, and 12:6 which indicate that 42 months – 3 ½ years – are equal to 1,260 days. Therefore, 483 years x 360 days = 173,880 days Artaxerxes started his reign in 465 B.C. The decree to rebuild Jerusalem was given on the first day of Nisan, in the 20th year of Artaxerxes. In our calendar system (the Julian calendar) that date is March 14, 445 B.C. (Nehemiah 2:1) Jesus started His ministry in the 15th year of Tiberius (see Luke 3:1). Tiberius started his reign in A.D. 14, so Jesus’ ministry started in A.D. 29. Anderson believed that Jesus celebrated four Passovers during His ministry, one each in A.D. 29, 30, 31. and His final Passover in A.D. 32. With the help of lunar charts, we can calculate the exact date of ancient Passovers, so it is possible to calculate the exact day of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem as April 6, A.D. 32. From 445 B.C. to A.D. 32. there are 476 years on the Julian calendar (not 477 years, because there is no year zero). 476 years x 365 days = 173,740 days. Adjusting for the difference between March 14 and April 6 adds 24 days. Adjusting for leap years over a period of 476 years adds 116 days. The total number of days from March 14, 445 B.C. to April 6, A.D. 32. 173,740 + 24 + 116 = 173,880 days. According to his calendar, Daniel told us there would be 173,880 days between the decree and the arrival of Messiah the Prince. Jesus said to the Jews of this day: If you had known, even you, especially IN THIS YOUR DAY, the things that make for your peace! (Luke 19:42). David said of this day in Psalm 118:24: THIS IS THE DAY which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.>> We are currently in the “Church Age” between the 69th week and start of the 70th (and final) week of the Daniel 9 prophecy. Here is a written explanation of the 70th “week” (set of seven years) that includes the Rapture, Tribulation and Second Coming of Jesus Christ… <<5. (27) The events of the seventieth week. “Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.” a. He shall confirm a covenant: The “he” Gabriel described is the prince who is to come mentioned in the previous verse. If we know that the prince’s people destroyed Jerusalem in A.D. 70, then we know this coming prince has his ancestral roots in the soil of the ancient Roman Empire. i. Therefore, the prince who is to come will in some way be an heir to the Romans, even as the final world government is an heir to the Roman Empire (Daniel 7). b. He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week: The coming prince will make a covenant with Israel for the final unit of seven years, completing the seventy weeks prophesied for the Jewish people and Jerusalem. i. Covenant with many: The word many here is a specific reference to Israel, not a general reference to a group. The ancient Hebrew says, “covenant with the many.” ii. With this covenant Israel will embrace the Antichrist as a political messiah, if not the literal Messiah. Jesus predicted this in John 5:43: I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. iii. Taking the description of what would be accomplished in the 70 Weeks from Daniel 9:24, we know that the 70 Weeks are not yet complete. Yet the events promised in the first 69 weeks are fulfilled, indicated that there is a lengthy “pause” in the 70 Weeks, between the 69th week and the 70th week. The 70th week will begin when the coming prince shall confirm a covenant with the Jewish people. These gaps or pauses in prophecy may seem strange to us, but they are common. Comparing Isaiah 9:6 and Luke 1:31-33 shows another significant pause or gap in prophecy regarding the coming of the Messiah. iv. We can think of it in this way: God appointed 490 years of special focus on Israel in His redemptive plan. The years were paused by Israel’s rejection of Jesus. Now there is no special focus on Israel in God’s redemptive plan because this is the time of the church. God’s focus will return to Israel when the church is taken away (at the rapture) and the last seven years of man’s rule on this earth begin. v. “The 70th week will begin when the Jewish people are restored in unbelief to their land and city; and among them will be found a faithful remnant, owning their sin, and seeking Jehovah’s face.” (Henry Ironside writing in 1911) c. In the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering: The coming prince will break the covenant with Israel in the middle of the seven years, the final week (period of seven years). i. The Book of Revelation sees this seven year period with both its halves as yet future (Revelation 12:6, 13-14; 13:5-9, 14-15). The middle of the week and the end of sacrifice had not yet happened in 90 A.D. d. On the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate: The ending of sacrifice will come with abominations, followed by tremendous desolation. i. Abominations translates an ancient Hebrew word (shiqquwts) that is connected to horrific idolatry (Deuteronomy 29:17, 1 Kings 11:5-7, 2 Kings 23:13). The idea is that the coming prince breaks the covenant and brings an end to sacrifice and offering by desecrating the holy place of the temple with a horrific idolatry. ii. Jesus called this the abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15) and indicated that it would be a pivotal sign in the Great Tribulation. Paul referred to the idolatry of the coming prince in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. e. Until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate: This breaking of the covenant and abomination of desolation has a promised consummation. Before the 70th week is completed, each of the things described in Daniel 9:24 will be accomplished and everlasting righteousness will reign.>> enduringword.com The book of Daniel was likely written between 540 B.C. and 530 B.C. www.gotquestions.org |

![]() But regardless of what date is accurate, the prophecy in Daniel 9:24-27 of when the Messiah would appear and what would happen to Him predates the birth of Jesus Christ by at least a century. This article supports the earlier dating of Daniel but gives reasons why many modern scholars prefer the later dating… <<Any study of the dating of the Book of Daniel must begin with the dates imbedded within the text. Nearly every chapter is tied to some historical event, beginning in 605 BC when Daniel and his friends were deported from Jerusalem to Babylon to serve in the court of Nebuchadnezzar the Great. In addition to the "court stories" in chapters 1-6, Daniel's visions are dated as follows: Nebuchadnezzar's Dream, "in the second year of his reign," about 603 BC (2:1). Daniel's Dream of Four Beasts, "in the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon," about 553 BC (7:1). Daniel's Vision of a Ram and a Goat, "in the third year of King Belshazzar's reign," about 550 BC (8:1). Daniel's Prayer of Intercession and Vision of the Seventy Weeks, "in the first year of Darius son of Xerxes," about 539 BC, (9:1). Daniel's Vision of the Kings of the North and South, "in the third year of Cyrus king of Persia," about 536 BC (10:1). Based on the internal dating, Daniel has been dated in the mid-sixth century BC by both Jews and Christians from the earliest times. The only exception to this was a pagan Neoplatonic philosopher named Porphyry of Tyre (c. 234-305 AD), who, in a 15-volume work Against the Christians, tried to discredit Jewish and Christian prophecy by claiming that Daniel's visions were written by "someone who lived in Judea at the time of Antiochus Epiphanes; and so instead of predicting the future, this writer describes what has already happened." This was refuted by Jerome in his Commentary on Daniel (407 AD) and there it lay for more than a thousand years.>> More at… www.jesuswalk.com |

![]() “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” (Isaiah 26:19-21) Commentary on those verses… <<FOUR REASONS WHY ISAIAH 26:19-21 REFERS TO THE RAPTURE. April 14, 2011 Isaiah 26:19-21: Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. (20) Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. (21) For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. As I read the verses above, the first thing that shot into my mind was how this passage seems to fit perfectly with other verses in the bible that talk about an upcoming and imminent event that we Christians commonly refer to as the “Rapture.” Many Bible commentaries do not interpret Isaiah 26:19-21 this way, with some instead applying it to God’s last plague before the Jewish exodus. In fact, you don’t see many rapture-believing Christians refer to this verse as a proof text. So I decided to provide reasons why this passage clearly refers to the Rapture. Incidentally, commentaries by Dr. Henry H. Morris and David Guzik are among such that include this verse as a proof text for the Rapture. Let’s examine this passage carefully: REASON 1: “THY DEAD MEN SHALL LIVE, TOGETHER WITH MY DEAD BODY SHALL THEY ARISE.” Concerning the above, Dr. Henry Morris of the Defender’s Study Bible states: Here is an Old Testament assurance of bodily resurrection of the believing dead, such assurance being possible because God Himself, in Christ, would conquer death. Believers would arise “together with my dead body.” This was literally fulfilled at the time of Christ’s resurrection (Matthew 27:52-53). It will be completed when Christ returns and “all that are in the graves … shall come forth” (John 5:28-29). In the progression of events which comprise the Rapture, the first thing that occurs is the bodily resurrection of the saints (called “the dead in Christ” in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16 and “they that are Christ’s” in 1 Corinthians 15:23). This is the first piece of evidence which clues us in to the fact that this verse is indeed a proof text for the Rapture. Since this is also a Messianic prophecy (“my dead body shall …arise”), I would like to point out to my unbelieving Jewish friends that this verse seems to refute the common (albeit erroneous) rabbinic interpretation of Isaiah 53’s suffering servant as the nation of Israel instead of Yeshua the Messiah Who according to this verse, is God. Because God is speaking in Isaiah 26:19, we know that it is God Whose dead body arises accompanied afterward by all that are in the grave. REASON 2: “COME, MY PEOPLE, ENTER THOU INTO THY CHAMBERS, AND SHUT THY DOORS ABOUT THEE” In John 14:2-3 we read: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” What is and where are these chambers which allow us to “hide” from the coming indignation? Could the place that Christ is preparing for His believers (where there are many mansions) contain the chambers we are to abide in until the end of the Great Tribulation? This seems to make good sense. After all, in the very next verse we are told that Christ’s purpose for preparing this place for us is so that He can come again to receive us unto Himself which is precisely what the Rapture is all about. So, the second reason why this passage refers to the Rapture is because the “chambers” in Isaiah 26:20 seem to coincide with the heavenly “place” which Christ prepares for those Christians that He comes back to get. REASON 3: “THE INDIGNATION BE OVERPAST.” Concerning the above, Dr. Henry Morris states in his commentary: “The indignation” is the great tribulation, during the height of which the believing Israelites will be preserved supernaturally by God in the wilderness (Revelation 12:13-16). In a secondary application, this promise will also apply to all the saints caught up to be with Christ prior to the onset of the tribulation period (1 Thessalonians 4:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:3). The central purpose of the Rapture is to exclude Christ’s people from the wrath to come (see Have we forgotten about the Rapture). Consequently, it follows that Isaiah 26:21 is a perfect supporting text for the Rapture since its main point is that God wants His people spared from the wrath that is to come. REASON 4: “THE LORD COMETH OUT OF HIS PLACE TO PUNISH THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH.” Since the Great Tribulation’s purpose is to punish “the earth’s inhabitants” for their iniquity in rejecting God and His Christ (Psalms 2:2-5), it is not hard to understand why Isaiah 26:21 parallels other verses which describe the intent of the tribulation period (Revelation 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 1:10). Therefore, the fourth reason why this passage refers to the Rapture is because the punishment that comes is brought by God (i.e. “the Lord cometh out of His place to punish”) and the punishment is meant for all people (i.e. the inhabitants of the earth) who have not obeyed the Gospel. Finally, David Guzik’s Commentary on Isaiah 26:19-21 states: When is this time when God’s people are carried away, securely hidden, from a time of great indignation the Lord brings upon the earth? It can refer to the deliverance of the Jewish people from the fury of the Antichrist described in Rev 12:6 and 12:13-16. But it is more likely that it speaks of the refuge, the safety, the security of God’s people when they are caught up together with the Lord in the air (1Th 4:16-17) and escape the horrific indignation of the Lord that He pours out upon the world in the Great Tribulation (Mat 24:21-22, Rev_9:15-21), which will immediately precede the second coming of Jesus Christ (Mat 24:29-30). Seen this way, this is a powerful passage supporting the teaching of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, which says that Jesus Christ will remove His people from this earth before the time of Great Tribulation coming upon the earth immediately before His ultimate return.>> christpluszero.wordpress.com |

![]() • We have an ongoing war in the Middle East that increasingly involves other countries with nuclear weapons. • We have a flurry of sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena as they’re now known ‘cause the media and governments did such a good job discrediting the term “UFO” and associating it with nuts.) • We have fulfilled Biblical prophecies involving the End Times and “stage setting” that provides a believable explanation for the introduction of “extraterrestrials” (which I think are demonic entities from the spiritual realm) to mankind; the removal of hundreds of millions of people from this planet; and events prophesied in the Tribulation. It’s all lining up. The UAPs save the day by preventing nuclear war; gain the world’s trust; explain away the disappearance of hundreds of millions of people from the planet; and precede (or enable) establishment of a peace treaty between Israel and numerous other countries. Sound familiar? It was all prophesied in the Bible 2,000+ years ago. ![]() “🙏The Rapture & Tribulation NO LATER than TRUE Nisan 1♥️ALL OF HIGH WATCH”... youtu.be Video is 1:23:04 I think the most important thing about the Rapture is there’s a Biblical prophetic time limit on when it can take place (we haven’t exceeded it yet - it’s May 10, according to the original calendar Jews used,) and I think the second most important thing to know about the Rapture is that there’s nothing to fear - God wouldn’t do that to any of His children - imagine falling asleep and waking up in Heaven. The Rapture is Biblical. When it happens is not mentioned in the Bible. This video says the latest date the Rapture can happen is May 10. 2024. In the meantime, enjoy life and know that you are saved aand have an eternity of bliss ahead of you 🙏🤗 |

![]() <<When Churches Dismiss Bible Prophecy… They Do So To Their Own Detriment Although prophecy constitutes almost one-third of the Bible, its importance is constantly downplayed by those who dismiss it as having no practical significance or by those who object to it on the grounds that it is a “fad” that takes people’s eyes off Jesus. Such cavalier dismissals of Bible prophecy fly in the face of scriptures like Revelation 19:10 which says that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Thus, if prophecy is properly taught, there is no reason for it to divert anyone’s attention away from Jesus. In fact, it should serve to emphasize the centrality of Jesus. Is prophecy practical? Consider that all the New Testament writers testify to the fact that living with the anticipation of the Lord’s return will motivate holy living. What could be more practical than that? Here’s the way the Apostle John put it: 1 John 3: 2-3 KJV – “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” Prophecy does not have to be either faddish, other-worldly, or impractical if taught properly. Nor does it have to be a playground for fanatics. It can and should be green pastures for disciples. Reasons for Study There are many reasons why all believers should be interested in studying Bible prophecy. Some of the more important ones are listed below: 1) The Quantity — One-fourth to one-third of the Bible is prophetic in nature. In the Old Testament, this includes the Psalms, the Major and Minor Prophets, and many passages in the historical books. In the New Testament, entire books like 1 & 2 Thessalonians and Revelation are devoted to prophecy, as are major passages like Matthew 24 and 1 Peter 3. To ignore Bible prophecy is to ignore a significant portion of God’s Word, and we are told in 2 Timothy 3:16 that “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness” — and that certainly includes Bible prophecy. 2) The Uniqueness — No other book in the world contains fulfilled prophecies. This includes the sayings of Buddha and Confucius, the Koran, the Hindu Vedras, and the Book of Mormon. And it certainly includes the ridiculous nonsensical quatrains of Nostradamas. In contrast, the Bible contains hundreds of specific prophecies that have already been fulfilled — prophecies about towns, cities, nations, empires, and political leaders, as well as prophecies about the Messiah. Consider, for example, the prophecy in the book of Isaiah that a man named Cyrus would be the one who would release the children of Israel from Babylonian captivity (Isaiah 44:28). And that is exactly what happened 142 years later (Ezra 1:1-3). 3) Validator of Scripture — Fulfilled prophecy is one of the best evidences I know of that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. As I stated above, the Bible contains hundreds of fulfilled secular prophecies pertaining to cities, nations, empires, and individuals. Isaiah prophesied that Babylon would fall to the Medes and Persians (Isaiah 13:17-20). Jeremiah predicted the Babylonian captivity of the Jews would last 70 years (Jeremiah 25:11-12). Daniel outlined in advance the precise order of four great Gentile empires (Daniel 2 and 7). The destruction of both Judah and Israel was foretold by Moses (Deuteronomy 28 and 29). In the New Testament, Jesus predicted the complete destruction of Jerusalem 40 years before it actually occurred (Luke 21:6). 4) Validator of Jesus — The prophetic scriptures validate Jesus as who He said He was — namely, God in the flesh. The Bible contains more than 300 prophecies about the First Coming of Jesus, but some of these are repetitive. There are actually 109 separate and distinct prophecies concerning the First Coming, and all of them were literally fulfilled. Every aspect of the life of Jesus was prophesied — the place of His birth, the nature of His birth, the quality of His ministry, the purpose of His life, and the agony of His death. Consider, for example, the prophecy in Psalm 22:16 that the Messiah’s hands and feet would be pierced. That prophecy was written by David about a thousand years before the birth of Jesus. It was written at a time when the only form of capital punishment among the Jewish people consisted of stoning. The literal fulfillment of so many prophecies in the life of one individual transcends any mere coincidence and serves to validate that Jesus was who He said He was — the divine Son of God. 5) Revealer of the Future — Prophecy serves to tell us some things that God wants us to know about the future (Deuteronomy 29:29 and Amos 3:7). God does not want us to know everything about the future, but there are some things we must know if we are to have a dynamic hope. Thus, prophecy assures us that Jesus is coming back, that He will resurrect us, and that He will take us to live forever with Him and God the Father. In this regard, Peter likens prophecy to “a lamp shining in a dark place” (2 Peter 1:19). Paul makes the same point in 1 Corinthians, chapter 2. He begins by observing that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has the mind of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him.” But in the next verse Paul says those things have been revealed to us by God through His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). 6) Tool of Evangelism — Prophecy can be used as a very effective tool of evangelism, as illustrated in the story of Philip and the Eunuch (Acts 8:26ff). Philip used Isaiah’s great suffering lamb passage (Isaiah 53) to teach that Jesus is the Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world. Matthew and Peter both used fulfilled prophecy in the life of Jesus as one of their basic evangelistic tools. In fact, Peter referred to prophecy constantly in his first gospel sermon on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-39). He preached that Jesus had been crucified and resurrected in fulfillment of Hebrew prophecies. Later, Peter referred to fulfilled prophecy as one of the greatest evidences that Jesus was truly the Son of God (2 Peter 1:16-19). 7) Tool of Moral Teaching — People often overlook the fact that the Hebrew prophets were forthtellers as well as foretellers. In fact, the prophets spent most of their time using God’s Word to spotlight societal problems. They called their listeners to repentance, true worship, justice, and personal holiness. One of the great recurring themes of the prophets is that “obedience is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22 and Hosea 6:6). That statement means that in God’s eyes, obedience to His commands is more important than outward religious practices such as offering sacrifices. Prophecy is thus a great repository of moral teaching, and those moral principles are still relevant today. (See Amos 5:21-24; Micah 6:8; and Isaiah 58:3-9.) 8) Generator of Spiritual Growth — Prophetic knowledge encourages patient waiting (James 5:7-8); provokes earnest watching (Matthew 24:36,42); inspires dedicated work (2 Timothy 4:7-8); and enhances our hope (Titus 2:11-14). The result is holy living. Paul exhorts us to “behave properly as in the day,” because the time is at hand when the Lord will return (Romans 13:12-13). Likewise, Peter calls us to gird up our minds and be sober and holy as we look forward to the revelation of Jesus (1 Peter 1:13-15). 9) Understanding of Current Events — The Bible contains detailed prophecies about the end times we are living in, and there is just no way to fully understand much of what is happening today apart from those prophecies. Three characteristics of our day and time immediately come to mind: the intensifying decay of society, the growing apostasy in the Church, and the escalating crisis in the Middle East. All three of these situations are prophesied in detail in the Bible. We are told that society will become as violent and immoral as it was in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37-39); that the Church will be assaulted with “doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1); and that all the nations of the world will come against Israel over the issue of who will control Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:23). 10) Signifier of the Season — One of the most exciting reasons for studying Bible prophecy is that it provides very definite signs that we are to watch for which will signify the season of the Lord’s return. It is true that we cannot know the date, but the Bible makes it clear that we can know the season if we are aware of the signs that we are to look for. The Apostle Paul made this point in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 when he wrote: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 KJV – “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” According to this passage, Jesus is coming like “a thief in the night” for the world, but those of us who are “sons of light” — that is, those of us who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit — should not be surprised when the Lord returns, because God’s Word gives us signs to watch for. Paul made the same point again in Hebrews 10:25 where he admonished believers to not forsake the assembling of the saints, especially “as you see the day drawing near.” What day? He defines it in verse 27 as the day of judgment. So, Paul is making the point here that there are signs we can watch for that will clearly identify the fact that we are living in the season of the Lord’s return. Jesus made the same point in His Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24. After specifying many end time signs, He said, “when you see all these things, recognize that He [Jesus] is near, right at the door” (Matthew 24:33). Spiritual Food God’s Prophetic Word is food for our spiritual growth. We need to take it off the shelf, open it up, and feast upon it — and we need to do so with believing hearts. The book of Revelation promises blessings to those who read it (or hear it read) and who obey it (Revelation 1:3). It is the only book of the Bible to promise such a specific blessing, but all God’s Word is designed to bless us spiritually (Psalm 119), and that includes the Prophetic Word. Bible prophecy, properly taught, can literally transform a person and a congregation. This will happen if the person or congregation can be convinced of two things regarding prophecy: 1) Jesus is returning, and 2) His return could occur any moment. Regarding the first point, most Christians believe with their minds that Jesus is returning, but they do not believe with their hearts, and therefore their belief has no impact on their behavior. Regarding the second point, most Christians are unaware that the return of Jesus will be in two stages — first, the Rapture, and then the Second Coming. Because they know little or nothing about the Rapture, they have no understanding that the Lord could truly return at any moment. They believe that many prophecies — like the preaching of the Gospel to the whole world — must be fulfilled before the Lord can return, when the truth of the matter is that there is not one prophecy that must be fulfilled for the Rapture to occur. Again, if a person or congregation can truly be convinced that Jesus is returning any moment, they will be transformed because they will be motivated to share the Gospel with others and to commit their lives to holiness. A commitment to evangelism and holiness! What more could a pastor hope for? Bible prophecy does not just relate to the future. It has an important spiritual relevance to the way we live our lives in the present. Dr. David Reagan is an author, speaker, and the founder of Lamb & Lion Ministries.>> harbingersdaily.com |

![]() • Interpret passages commonly associated with the Rapture in another way; Or • Say the apostle Paul and Jesus Christ got it wrong. Plus, nowhere in the Bible that I’m aware of does God punish the righteous with the unrighteous (knowing that the righteousness of believers is entirely due to and from Jesus Christ.) So if that’s the case, to deny the Rapture is also to deny the Tribulation and all of the judgments associated with it. It’s easy to claim something’s false; quite another to deal with the ramifications of that claim. |

![]() I definitely agree with the first two, which were both written by the Apostle Paul, but I think Matthew 24:37-44 is much more of a Rapture passage than John 14:1-3. Not really sure why few people seem to cite that passage in Matthew. First, here’s the passage in the Gospel of John they cite as being about the Rapture… “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3) And here’s the passage in the Gospel of Matthew, which, to me, sounds much more like it’s about the Rapture… “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:37-44) To me, it sounds in John 14:1-3 like Jesus is simply saying He will prepare a place for His disciples to be with Him after they die. Here’s a commentary on some of the verses in the passage in Matthew… <<a. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left: Jesus here pointed to curious disappearances; to a catching away of some at the coming of the Son of Man (as also described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). i. “Taken is the same verb used, e.g., in 1:20; 17:1; 18:16; 20:17; it implies to take someone to be with you, and therefore here points to the salvation rather than the destruction of the one ‘taken’.” (France) b. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming: Since the day and hour of this coming are unknowable, Jesus’ followers must be on constant guard for His coming. i. Here again is the Second Coming dilemma. · Is it at an unexpected hour or is it positively predicted? · Is it business as usual or worldwide cataclysm? · Is it meeting Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) or is He coming with the saints (Zechariah 14:5)? ii. William Barclay describes one aspect of the difficulty here: “It is in two sections and they seem to contradict each other. The first (verses 32-35) seem to indicate that, as a man can tell by the signs of nature when summer is on the way, so he can tell by the signs of the world when the Second Coming is on the way… The second section (verses 36-41) says quite definitely that no one knows the time of the Second Coming, not the angels, not even Jesus himself, but only God; and that it will come upon men with the suddenness of a rainstorm out of a blue sky.” iii. The dilemma is resolved by seeing that there are actually two second comings. One is in the air, for the church – commonly known as the rapture. The other is to the world, coming with the church, commonly known as the Second Coming of Jesus. The “contradictions” in Matthew 24 (and much of the rest of prophecy) are often solved by seeing there are really references to “two” returns of Jesus.>> enduringword.com And the reference to the days of Noah is not just to business-as-usual but also to the violence and evil of those days, according to this section of the commentary… <<a. As the days of Noah were: Jesus explained what He meant by the days of Noah. It means life centered around the normal things: eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. In other words, life will be business as usual; reprobate perhaps, but usual. i. Eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage: Bruce notes that “Some charge these with sinister meaning: [eating], hinting at gluttony because often used of beasts, though also, in the sense of eating, of men…[marrying and giving in marriage], euphemistically pointing at sexual licences on both sides.” Yet he comes to the conclusion, “The idea rather seems to be that all things went on as usual, as if nothing were going to happen.” ii. We should also remember that the days of Noah were also marked by violence and demonic oppression (Genesis 6:1-5). b. And did not know until the flood came and took them all away: Those in the days of Noah were warned, and judgment eventually came. To those who had ignored the warnings, it came suddenly and unexpectedly. i. “That the coming of the Son of Man takes place at an unknown time can only be true if in fact life seems to be going on pretty much as usual – just as in the days before the Flood.” (Carson) ii. In this, there is a dilemma. How can Jesus come to a “business-as-usual” world, and a world experiencing the worst calamities ever seen on earth?>> enduringword.com That last paragraph seems to indicate the difficulty of the Rapture taking place during or at the end of the Tribulation. |

![]() “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?” (Matthew 26:53-54) In verse 54, Jesus didn’t say how then shall mankind be saved or how then shall mankind be reconciled to God. He said “how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?” Thinking Biblical prophecies aren’t important also neglects that God provided them in His Word so believers would know what lay ahead and not be frightened. And also, all Scriptures are “God-breathed” and therefore are completely trustworthy. “Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16) (BLB) (Berean Literal Bible) |

That the rapture is Biblical and imminent. That based on the signs we see worldwide, we are in the season and see the day approaching. That the rapture and Second Coming are not the same event, just like not all Biblical trumpets are the same. That as children of light, we are not subject to God’s Wrath!! That things would be as they were in the Days of Noah, and that there would be scoffers in these last days. Finally the rapture is referred to as our Blessed Hope and we should be comforting one another with this doctrine. “Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).>> |

![]() I think this article (from which I’m posting a long excerpt) makes a good case for why it’s not… <<In the well-known parable of the ten virgins found in Matthew 25:1-13, Jesus tells the story of ten young maidens who take their lamps and go to meet the bridegroom. Five of the virgins were prepared, evidenced by the fact that they had filled their lamps in the event the bridegroom’s arrival was delayed. However, the other five, described as “foolish,” took no extra oil with them. Then unexpectedly, at midnight, there was a shout, “Behold the bridegroom! Come out to meet him” (verse 6). Jesus goes on to explain that the unprepared bridesmaids attempted to borrow oil from the others because their lamps were burning out. However, their request was refused. Suddenly, the bridegroom arrived and took the prepared virgins with him to the wedding feast, whereupon the door for the feast was shut. Jesus then explains the application in verses 11 through 13: “Later, the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us. But he answered, “Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ Be on the alert then, because you do not know the day nor the hour.” This parable is often cited to be an illustration of the rapture of the church. More specifically, it has been used in an attempt to justify the “partial rapture” theory, or the belief that only some Christians will be taken at the rapture, while other believers will be left behind. Those who advocate this theory say that the Christians who are taken are those who are prepared and godly, while the others are unprepared and perhaps even living in sin. But there are several glaring problems with this view. First, nowhere in the New Testament is the concept of a partial rapture taught or even implied. On the contrary, 1 Corinthians 15:51 clearly states that at the rapture, “we will all be changed.” As Christians, all our sins have been forgiven, and we are forever made righteous in his sight (Romans 5:1; 8:1; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 7:25). Second, the church is called the bride of Christ in the New Testament (Ephesians 5:25-26; Revelation 19:7). However, here in this parable, the subjects are the attendants of the bride (virgins), not the bride herself. In fact, the bride isn’t even mentioned! So the comparison doesn’t match. Third, the Lord responds to those unprepared virgins in the same way he does to unbelievers in Matthew 7:21-23, barring them entrance to heaven and the kingdom. Implicit in Jesus’ words is that they are cast into hell (Matthew 24:50-51). This too would keep us from interpreting this as a rapture event. However, at the second coming of Christ (which leads to the “kingdom” Jesus spoke of in verse 1), there will be judgments (Ezekiel 20:34-38; Matthew 24:40-51). Following the rapture, we will go straight to the “Father’s house” (John 14:1-3). But following the second coming, all believers will be ushered into the millennial kingdom (Revelation 20:4-6). Fourth, the entire context of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24–25) is him speaking to his Jewish brethren concerning the time of the seven-year tribulation. Therefore the interpretation of this parable must be applied to those Jews living during that time. Jesus (the Boss) isn’t referring to believers concerning the church age here. Some Jews will believe on Messiah during the tribulation and thus be prepared for the second coming of Christ (Revelation 19), while others will side with Antichrist and be shut out of the kingdom. I believe the New Testament teaches a pre-tribulational rapture of the church, meaning that Christ will return for his bride prior to the seven-year season of God’s wrath on earth (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9; Revelation 3:10; 6–19). The only similarities between this parable and those scriptures that teach the rapture are that both involve a wedding motif, the bridegroom’s unknown return time, and that both urge preparedness. There are plenty of biblical motivations in the New Testament encouraging believers to be ready for Jesus’ return at the rapture (1 Peter 4:7; 5:8; 1 John 3:1-3; Revelation 3:2-3). However, Matthew 25:1-13 isn’t one of them. It is speaking to a different audience concerning a different period of time, a different kind of preparedness, and a different return of Christ.>> harvestprophecyhq.com This article, from which I’m posting a few excerpts, also disagrees with the idea that the Parable of the Ten Virgins is about the Rapture… <<The ten virgins represent the nation of Israel as a whole. The nation is divided into two groups of five each. One group, the wise, is depicted as prepared and waiting since they have obtained extra oil in case a delay occurs in the coming of the bridegroom. This first group represents believing and prepared Israel. The second group, the foolish, did not prepare and they represent unbelieving Israel. They were not ready for the coming of Messiah. Dr. Pentecost tells us the following: Although a strong testimony will be given to the nation of Israel during the Tribulation (Matthew 24:14), some people will be unprepared when the King comes to institute His millennial kingdom. The prepared will be received into the kingdom to enjoy its bounty but the unprepared will be excluded. Thus this parable teaches that there will be a judgment of living Israelites to determine who is and is not prepared. This is an expression of Christ’s previous statement that “you also must be ready” (Matthew 24:44).>> <<Quite frankly, the same grace that saves each believer is the grace that will take one out at the rapture. One does not have qualify through their own works or reach a certain level of sanctification to be taken at the rapture. Qualification for being taken in the rapture is not a reward for faithfulness, but like salvation itself is a free gift. One’s name is added to “the rapture manifest” when their name is added to the roll the moment one trusts Christ as his Savior. Even if a believer does not believe in the pretribulational rapture, they will be taken anyway if they are indeed a believer. I am sure some will be taken by surprise, and perhaps some kicking and screaming but they will be taken nevertheless.>> <<If watchfulness is necessary for worthiness, as partial rapturists characteristically argue, then none of the ten virgins qualify for “they all became drowsy and fell asleep.” The command to “watch” in Matthew 25:13 has, then, the specific meaning of being prepared with oil—being genuinely regenerated and indwelt by the Spirit rather than having unusual spirituality. The clear teaching is that “watching” is not enough. This passage will serve to refute the partial rapturists instead of sustaining their viewpoint. Only by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit can one be qualified for entrance into the wedding feast, but all the wise virgins enter the feast.>> www.blueletterbible.org I read a while ago that oil in the lamps symbolized the Holy Spirit, but I have a difficult time accepting that because one either has the Holy Spirit (through believing in Jesus Christ and in His Resurrection) or one doesn’t. It’s true that the Holy Spirit’s influence in a believer’s life is strengthened or weakened by whether the believer is in regular fellowship with God, but I don’t think any believer (and all believers have the Holy Spirit) would be barred from the Millennial Kingdom. Plus, the Holy Spirit cannot be shared between believers (referring to when the foolish virgins wanted the wise virgins to give them oil.) It also doesn’t make sense that the five virgins who didn’t have enough oil were told by the other virgins to go and buy it. I’m not sure what the oil in the parable symbolizes, but I have a hard time thinking it symbolizes the Holy Spirit. I do think, though, that this parable (which is often cited in support of a partial Rapture) is not about the Rapture at all. I might try this week to see what the oil in the lamps symbolizes and how people who think it symbolizes the Holy Spirit justify that. |

![]() “Time 4 Silence, Rapture is nearer than ever, Jesus is still coming” youtu.be Video is 4:12 With war in the Middle East and other countries, including the United States, getting involved; rising threat of nuclear war; technology that allows for prophecies in Revelation to be fulfilled (Mark of the Beast, everyone able to watch the resurrection of the two witnesses,) the approaching end of the “fig tree” generation; the approaching end of the 2,000-year age of Grace; the increasing lawlessness and evil in the world; signs and wonders in the heavens; wars and rumors of wars; spike in natural disasters; rise of false prophets (known in Biblical times as “Judaizers”) who claim Jesus’ sacrifice isn’t enough for salvation; pestilences and famine; rise in scoffers and mockers (we even see it here on GK,) more and more Christians sensing the end is near…it’s honestly hard for me to believe we have significant time left before the Rapture. It kind of struck me that this guy (don’t know his name) is making a video in his car about the Rapture while driving at night because he felt compelled to. And he’s telling Christians to stay close to God in these last days. Scoffers can say a lot of Rapture dates were predicted in the distant past and came and went, but how many had this kind of convergence of events (as listed above?) |

![]() “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18) The idea is that when a dignitary visited a town in Biblical times, the townspeople would all walk out a ways to meet him so they could walk with him into the town together. So in these verses, it’s suggested that Jesus Christ’s Second Coming, which occurs seven years after the start of the Tribulation, will take place with Jesus appearing in the air, believers meeting Him in the air and then descending with Him to earth for the start of Jesus Christ’s Millennial Kingdom. But there are a lot problems with that view. • The (initial) coming of Jesus Christ is supposed to be unpredictable - if it happens at the end of the Tribulation, it can be predicted. • The Apostle Paul, the author of 1 Thessalonians, told believers in Thessalonica to comfort one another with his words. Who’s going to be comforted knowing they have to go through the worst seven years in human history before Jesus Christ appears? • in the Bible, God removes the righteous before He punishes the unrighteous, such as with Lot and Lot’s family and Noah and Noah’s family. In this view, He doesn’t. The view that believers who have been made righteous by the blood of Christ and are the righteousness of God in Christ have to be punished with the unrighteous (those who rejected Christ) runs counter to the New Covenant. • Many verses/passages in the New Testament and Old Testament say believers (the righteous in Christ) are spared from God’s wrath. “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” (Revelation 3:10) “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” (Isaiah 26:19-21) • The church isn’t mentioned in Revelation during the Tribulation. Believers (the church) are mentioned 19 times in the first three chapters of Revelation and then aren’t mentioned again until the Tribulation is over. Why? Because the Tribulation is describing events on earth and the church isn’t there. The church is in Heaven. • Another passage commonly associated with the Rapture is Matthew 24:37-44… “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:37-44) The claim this isn’t a Rapture passage is based on the idea that in the Rapture, the righteous (believers) are removed from the earth and the unrighteous (unbelievers) are left behind, while this passage says the opposite - in the days of Noah, the unrighteous (unbelievers) were taken (went to the afterlife after dying) while the righteous (Noah and his family) were left behind. But this takes the analogy too far, imo. I think Jesus Christ was saying when He comes, it will be business-as-usual, just as it was when the Flood came in the days of Noah. • Speaking of which, does anyone think after the seven-year Tribulation, when earth’s inhabitants go through the most catastrophic times in the history of earth, things will be business as usual - people marrying and giving in marriage? Post is getting too long but plan to revisit this manana - about why the Rapture is indeed in the Bible. One other thing… • The snatching away of believers in 1 Thessalonians 4 occurs after Jesus Christ descends from Heaven and believers meet Him in the air. But the snatching away of believers (those who became Christians during the Tribulation, or Tribulation saints,) in Matthew 24 is performed by angels, not Jesus Christ… “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:29-31) This is clearly after the Tribulation and a separate event from what the Apostle Paul describes in 1 Thessalonians 4, imo. |

In Part 2 we discuss the missing church in Revelation, the three phases of The First Resurrection, The Restrainer, the Millennial Day Theory, The Day of The Lord, and the fact that all Spirit filled christians will be raptured. So we continue to comfort and encourage one another with these words. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25). And we do see the Day approaching!!>> Amen, Carol! ✝️ 🙏 Quote from the end of the video… “I know there is so much going on. So many of you are becoming weary of watching and waiting and yet we continue to put our trust in the Lord, knowing that if He tarries for any reason it’s that He does not wish that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. So we will put our trust in the Lord. I’m praying for you, that He richly blesses you and gives you that peace and comfort that really does surpass all understanding.” |

![]() That is why the two witnesses in Revelation may be Enoch and Elijah, because the Bible says humans die once and then the judgment. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Hebrews 9:27-28) Enoch and Elijah never died, but the two witnesses in the Tribulation do die and are then Resurrected and taken to Heaven. “And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.” (Revelation 11:7-12) That said, a lot of people think Moses and Elijah are the two witnesses. Of course, the two witnesses don’t have to be people from the Bible or people believers have heard of. The Holy Spirit can work through any believer. |

![]() “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.” (Revelation 4:1-2) This article favors the view that the Rapture is in the opening verses of chapter 4 in Revelation… <<So where is the rapture in the book of Revelation? I strongly believe the rapture is shown in Revelation 4:1-2 where the catching up of John represents the future catching up of the Church. I believe this for the following reasons: 1. The structure of Revelation - It fits PERFECTLY with the Lord-given structure of Revelation. The Lord Jesus, in Rev 1:19 said Rev 1:19 Write the things which you have seen (past), and the things which are (present), and the things which will take place after this. (future) The things which you have seen concerns the vision of Jesus in Rev 1:12-16. The things which are (ie currently present) are the churches as described in chapters 2 and 3. Basically all prophecy experts recognize that as well as being literal churches in the days of John, they also represent the different types of churches and issues throughout Church history leading up to His return. Then John was told to write 'the things which take place after this'. After what? After the church age represented by the messages to the churches in Revelation 2 and 3. So Everything from chapter 4 onwards IS FUTURE, AFTER THE CHURCH AGE. That is why Revelation 4:1 states TWICE that the things from this point on are 'AFTER THIS' (ie after the churches and church age). 2. The typology involved - If you have seen the studies on the JPN site, you will have seen that I like typology! I love all the types and pictures that God puts in His word and have spent a lot of time studying them. Based on that study, I can say that God is either purposefully trying to trick us in the picture given in Revelation 4:1-2 or He is showing us a type of the rapture! Why do I say that? Well, it is just too similar to be ignored. Look at the similarities (taken from my study on the sudden ending): Heaven is opened Heaven is opened only twice in the book of Revelation. Once here, to receive John, and one in Rev 19 where Jesus and the saints come out of Heaven to make war against the nations: ' Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.' These two openings represent the rapture and the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. If we want to be part of this open Heaven we need first to have opened the door of our heart to the Lord! (Rev 3:20) The Lord is personally involved In Revelation John sees the Lord Jesus in glory (Rev 1:12-20) and then hears the Lord telling Him to come on up! In like manner, at the Rapture, it is the Lord who personally comes for His bride 'For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first..' (1Th 4:16) There is a trumpet sound John heard a voice like a trumpet just as believers will hear a trumpet when the Lord returns. (1 Thes 4:16) There is a command John is given the command to 'Come up here'. At the rapture there will be a loud command (1 Thes 4:16) It could well be 'come up here'. Daniel was given a vision of the throne. But he remained on Earth. Isaiah and Ezekiel saw a vision of the throne and the Lord also. But none were commanded to 'come up here'. Why John? Because this is all a type of what will happen to believers at the rapture. It will not be some amazing experience while we remain here. We are going up. Immediately taken from earth to heaven Immediately John goes from being on the Island of Patmos to Heaven... just like that. Speaking of the Lord's coming and our change into His likeness, Paul wrote to the Corinthians that at the Lord's return we will be changed in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye - which is a reference to the amount of time it takes from seeing someone to recognizing them. One moment, like John, we will be on earth... the next we will be caught up to heaven! The timing of this 'catching up' As noted above - Notice that this verse twice says 'after these things'. It is repeated so we know it is important. But after what things exactly? If you know Revelation you'll know this phrase has been spoken by Jesus previously when he gave His threefold outline to the book: Rev 1:19 "Therefore write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after these things. 'the things which you have seen' is the Vision of Jesus (Rev 1:12-20) 'the things that are' is the Church age (Rev 2-3) 'the things that take place after this' is that which occurs after the Church age (tribulation, Messianic Kingdom, Eternal State - Rev Ch 4-22) 3. The promise of God - the Church will not see His wrath - Having the rapture at Rev 4:1-2 makes sense in terms of other promises of God to the church. We are specifically told that we will not experience God's wrath upon the earth. We are promised that the 'rescue' will occur before this time. Revelation 6-19 is all about God's wrath on an unbelieving world. So the rapture has to occur before this time. I'll leave you with some of these promises. Thanks for the question and I hope it helps. : ) Luk 21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." 1Th 1:9-10 They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath. 1Th 5:5,9 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.,, God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rev 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.>> jesusplusnothing.com |

![]() This is an interesting video from him about his hearing the word “Zerubbabel” in his mind twice and his search to find out what the word meant. He learns Zerubbabel appears in Haggai 2, a chapter I’ve heard mentioned from a few other watchers. youtu.be Video is 18:47 Here are the relevant passages from what he read… “For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:6-9) “And again the word of the Lord came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying, Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:20-23) And here’s a much shorter video where he talks about his position on salvation… youtu.be Video is 4:37 |

![]() Unlike the May 10, 2024 deadline from another channel, this prophetic deadline seems very straightforward. <<THE JERUSALEM “DEADLINE” Jesus points us to the precision of the Word. Jesus said: “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18 KJV Did you ever notice the 70th week of Daniel was specifically determined for the Jews and Jerusalem, and not for Israel? You might say I’m splitting hairs, but I believe there may be a clue in that. ‘Seventy weeks are determined upon THY PEOPLE and upon THY HOLY CITY, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.’ Daniel 9:24 KJV In 1948 Israel was reborn, and in 1949 Israel was recognised by all the trees at the UN, but it wasn’t until 1950 that they proclaimed the holy city [Jerusalem ❤️] as their capital, and passed the law of return to give Daniel’s people [Jews ❤️] the right to come home! ‘Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. [2] After two days will he revive us: in THE THIRD DAY he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.’ Hosea 6:1-2 KJV 1st day (Fig tree): May 14, 1948 2nd day (all the trees): May 11, 1949 3rd day 😊 (Jerusalem): Jan 23, 1950 Jesus connects a FUTURE weeping with 👉JERUSALEM 👈 : ‘Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of JERUSALEM, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.’ Luke 23:28 KJV If we can find the LEGAL DEADLINE we have found the rapture date. Anything before is most likely a waste of time. Jesus is all about SAVING PEOPLE and being RIGHTEOUS. If Jesus shuts the doors early people would have legal grounds to question His long-suffering and patience! I feel like the only one saying this and my message has been somewhat falling on deaf ears. I say look for the LEGAL DEADLINE ⌛️ or don’t look at all! What do you think of this approach? It’d be good to hear your view in the COMMENTS. And think about this; the speed of the rapture implies danger (nukes I believe) but it also implies the last second as it has to be quick ⚡️ . Jesus said “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY.” John 6:44 KJV Jesus said “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39 KJV Moses (Christ prototype) returned to his own people (Jews) at 80 and Psalm 90:10 sets the deadline at 80 also, and the 70th week is 2520 days. So here’s my calculation again … 🇮🇱 Jan 23, 1950 Jerusalem proclamation + 80 maximum years = Jan. 22, 2031, subtract the final 2520 days and the ABSOLUTE DEADLINE is at some point during the day on 👉 Feb. 29, 2024 👈 before the 70th week runs into Jerusalem 81 territory. Leap day looks good for our leap!>> This is all based on the belief that the fig tree mentioned by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse refers to Israel. “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” (Matthew 24:32-34) |
