Not to mention former Gov. Andrew Cuomo required seniors who tested positive for Covid in hospitals to go back to their nursing homes, resulting in the deaths of 10,000+ seniors.

You hear little about that because Cuomo was a Democrat.

In fact his brother on CNN (Chris Cuomo) was repeatedly allowed to interview the New York governor and not surprisingly never brought that up.

So much for ethics in journalism…

Cuomo was / is a POS, he wasn't president of the entire nation and leader of the free world. But whatever false comparisons you want to make. And while Como was giving briefings to people to reassure them he wasn't saying that it was no worse than the flu that you would get a case of the sniffles that it was going to magically disappear that who he added very under control. Now he was complaining about not being able to get ventilators from the federal government and not having enough freezer trucks the store is dead in. But bring up whatever falls compares and you want for that piece of s***.

People are stupid what can I say. At least they didn't march on the capitol, entering over 150 Capital police officers. Threatening to hang the vice president and kill members of Congress and s*** in the Hall of Congress yeah but that's so bad I agree!!!! She should be institutionalized for sure.

I already commented on that. I wouldn't know. Perhaps you can look it up and keep it in your back pocket for the next time I talk about former president Trump. You need new better ammunition anyways. Hypocrisy and whataboutism appear to be a specialty of your's but I could be wrong about that. Possibly

This is interesting…

Covid deaths in the United States by year…

2020: 384,536

2021: 462,193

2022: 244,986

www.statista.com

President Biden took the Oath of Office in January 2021.

Yes it is interesting, after everyone made a run on the airports because they had 48 hours to make a decision. The die was cast, the virus was already running ramp it. Also in addition to that. Former President Trump made wearing a mask a political issue, promoted drugs like hydroxychloroquine and horse dewormer probably in stock in it in some way. And other treatments. Not to mention all the propaganda about the vaccine and how it was going to kill everyone who took it.

No wonder the numbers were bad.

So yeah things were very bad and it took time to run it's course. We had the worst response to COVID 19 in the industrialized world.

Garbage in garbage out

I completely agree with that. Trump wasn't the only one who lied to the American public. But he was the one who had the power to stop it,... Didn't he?

Does President Biden bear any responsibility for the Covid deaths that happened when he was President?
apatzer
22-Jul-24, 13:50

Yes he does as any president would.

Was president Biden handed a flaming bag of crap? A hospital system on the verge of collapse?

Did he make COVID 19 a political issue, and wearing a mask or taking a vaccine a political issue?

Did he lie and say it was no worse than the flu, when months before he told a reporter in private that is was more dangerous than even the most strenuous flu's?

Did he say, it is going to disappear, and we have everything under control, right before everything blew up and America didn't have enough freezer trucks to store the dead until burial?

What was the condition of this country when he took over? Was it good? Great?

Why did we have one of the most poorest responses in the world? And the one of the most deaths per capita?

Don't you think that if the virus was already running rampit through the population, anyone would have a hard time getting it under control? It took a year to get things to start being under control.

If my memory’s correct, vaccines were available and the country was locked down when Biden became President. Social distancing was also mandated in stores.

22-Jul-24, 14:02

Thanks for ignoring everything you can't answer without looking.....

The first significant availability of COVID-19 vaccine doses for the general population occurred in December 2020. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine received emergency use authorization on December 11, 2020, and the first vaccinations began on December 14, 2020, with an initial distribution of 2.9 million doses primarily for healthcare workers and residents of long-term care facilities. Wider access for the general population was expected in early 2021, as vaccine supply increased.

And that is when Republicans lead by Donald John Trump made taking the vaccine a political issue. And wearing masks a political issue. And spreading rumors of horse dewormer cues and hydroxychloroquine. And other types of therapy that cost thousands and thousands of dollars because they were making money from it.

And rumors that everyone who was going to take the vaccine would die and that Bill Gates was putting a chip in it and they were magnetic and they were tracking people that all came from your side buddy okay.

I don’t even read most of your posts anymore.

I find them too lengthy, too disingenuous and too boring.

When you no longer say in 300 words what can be said in 30, I’ll probably read them again.

But what you’re doing now in many of your posts amounts to a “document dump” that I don’t have the time or interest in reading, let alone responding to.

Bats Are Going Through a Rare Evolutionary Phenomenon
This seems to indicate that one species can evolve into another, or two separate species, and it is being observed now. Vey interesting.
.............................................

Bats have been found to evolve into bigger sizes in exactly the same way in separate locations, in a very rare example of parallel evolution.

It's so rare that it is the first time parallel evolution has been seen in real-time in mammal species. And it has only been seen in action a few times before, according to a paper in the journal Evolution.

So bats “evolved” into bats?

Did you know some “scientists” say nearly 5,000 species of fruit flies exist and 17,500 species of butterflies exist? So if species 3,794 of fruit flies “evolve” into species 3,795 (or an entirely “new species,”) and species 16,134 of butterflies evolve into species 16,135 (or an entirely new “species,”) this is evidence that millions of species of plants and animals, and humans, are the result of an unguided, blind-chance process that started with a single-celled organism? Because that’s what Darwin claimed and what Neo-Darwinism claims.

Like I said to an evolutionist on here months ago, some people will believe anything to deny the existence of God.

Vic
If your rant is about my post, I need to say that the post was not about denying the existence of God. It WAS about demonstrating that evolution does occur and it can be observed. It seems to be Nature changing one spices into two species, in real time. The time frame may not be instantaneous but it does seem to be happening and does seem to be measurable, observable.
victoriasas
28-Jul-24, 10:48

What I posted was a rant?

What occurred and can be observed from the article posted imo was not evolution as proposed by Darwin and now described as Neo-Darwinism. When scientists claim 5,000 species of fruit flies exist and 17,500 species of butterflies exist, that oughta raise red flags, imo.

And I don’t care whether evolutionists believe in God. An evolutionist on here claimed months ago that he couldn’t rule out the existence of God but at the same time claimed God had nothing to do with the creation of the universe, nothing to do with the creation of life and cannot be experienced by humans. He essentially wrapped God in plastic, shoved Him in his sock drawer and proclaimed he couldn’t rule out God exists. It was nothing more than a sop to believers.

You’re obviously free to think a bat “evolving” into a bat is somehow evidence of molecules-to-man evolution. I don’t and my saying I don’t is not a rant.
victoriasas
28-Jul-24, 11:36

BTW, some scientists say more than 1,200 species of bats exist, while others say more than 1,400 and still others say more than 1,500.

But what difference does a few hundred make when they’re making stuff up?

Reminds me of the time I asked evolutionists on here (GK) how many transitional fossils exist and I got answers that ranged from a dozen to “tens of thousands.” When I tried to get a more definitive number, that’s when they started the insults and gang trolling.
