I pulled most of those answers out of thin air. I'd be interested to know the actual answers. |

What's the feeding system called when you squeeze bullets into a long spring-loaded tube that pushes bullets toward the chamber and then you have to cycle the slide bolt to get the bullet to pop up? I used to have a .22 that loaded that way. It was fun. Forgive me, I love guns, but I don't have any or know much about them. (lost them all in a boating accident) |

That would be a slide action (pump action), tube fed rifle. Basically the same action as a pump action shotgun. |

Answer: Control the press and disarm the public. Interestingly enough, those are the first two amendments to our constitution. They have the first and are working on the second. |

Guns don’t kill people And the second amendment only talks about arms, not bullets. Everyone is happy! Props to Chris Rock m.youtube.com (Profanity alert) |

An American History Lesson . . .What I thought! What could this be about?! A well written expose on the importance and development of Early America as the Colonists learned (sometimes the hard way!) how to make the best use of firearms. Here are a couple cut/ pastes from that article. “Throughout U.S. history, the right to bear arms has been associated with liberty and legal equality, and gun control with the opposite.” “By contrast, gun rights in America were solidly established before 1619—indeed, before the first colonists landed at Jamestown. When the Virginia colonists set sail from England in 1606, they brought with them the first express written guarantee of arms rights in the English-speaking world, the Virginia Company charter granted earlier that year by England’s King James I.” “The American colonists’ political association with the English king ended when the king stopped adhering to those principles. In October 1774, King George II embargoed the shipment of firearms or gunpowder to the American colonies and ordered royal governors to begin confiscating arms and ammunition. Coercive disarmament set off the American Revolution, when confiscation was met with armed resistance at Lexington and Concord, in Massachusetts, on April 19, 1775.” The article touches on several other points of interest. Such as it were the American Indians who first showed the Colonists the importance of marksmanship, and that slave owners used control as a means to "keep ‘em down". Informative and pertinent to the “gun control debate” now raging. www.theepochtimes.com |

Point me to that quote, point me to the idea, point me to anyone that thinks that way. Take the worst examples of something and use it as an argument? Not good. Jeff, do you like to smoke? I can give you lots of horror stories about drugs and why you should not do them. They have caused a lot of people to do a lot of bad things. Matter of fact, do you want to total up drug related deaths vs. gun deaths? Of course, I am going to lump you in with the worst of the worst, after all. Drugs is drugs. |

The King of England was fine with the Colonials having arms - the same kind his soldiers had - until we began to resist the tyranny. Bet the Tories said the same thing about the muskets and single shots - you know those Colonials who were okay with tyranny? If you do not want to defend yourself you have that Right. But where do you get off telling me I can't defend myself?! |

When a normal person doesn't like something they avoid doing it. When a CTRL-Leftist doesn't like something they demand that nobody have the right to do it. |
