Is chess racist?
White always has a half move advantage against black. Maybe they should let black move first. BLM

I think it should be random
Before the rule of white moving first, each color had an equal chance at the first move. In the late 1800s, the rule changed from which color had the right to move first to which player would get white and the first move.Just saying why not let Black go first? In a real game it could be done. I think who ever goes first should try it backwards to see if they can play the game as effective as it’s been played for the last couple hundred years. Would be fun to play and make the corrected Fen diagrams. Or just keep playing the current way and get over the subject of racism in chess.

Easy and simple solution.
There is no doubt that white has a slight advantage because it moves first. Chess is played by 2 persons. To be fair and square, there should be even number of games in a tournament. If A player gets White and B player gets Black in the first game, then in the second game, A player will get Black and B player will get White. This kind of alternate playing of white and black by A and B players should go on in the even number of games. Thus, you can see this type of playing in world championship 12 round matches where each player will have equal number of 6 games as white and black. Problem easily solved. Do not compare chess with BLM protesters. They want more.
