Worthy of Contemplation IMO
Psalms 24; 7.) Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8.) Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9.) Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10.) Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Jesus Christ is the King of glory. Credit to another player I’m competing agaist in a mini tournament

How To Begin A Relationship With God, And Continue 🙏 In It
"Faith makes all the difference in our relationship with God. You simply cannot live a good enough life to please God and find His favor. What pleases God is when you believe Him. When you put your faith in what He has revealed." ~ J Vernon McGee

Good quote I saw on the YouTube channel “Busy 4 the Lord…” “Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Relationship is a guy out fishing thinking about God.”

In my experience and estimation, many people look for someone to be a “middle man” between them and God, whether it’s the pope, a priest, pastor, theologian, etc. They don’t seem to know that Jesus Christ is the mediator between God the Father and man – the mediator that Job longed for in the earliest book of the Bible. “He is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer him, that we might confront each other in court. If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together, someone to remove God’s rod from me, so that his terror would frighten me no more. Then I would speak up without fear of him, but as it now stands with me, I cannot.” (Job 9:32-35) (NIV) “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Timothy 2:3-6)

Trump's Comment About Self-depreciating Jokes
I don't think I have any jokes to tell. Especially when I consider how others have been shooting at me for such a long time.
|
|
That’s not self-deprecating. Self-deprecating is when you make fun of yourself.

Jokes Thread Should Have Jokes
<< Self-deprecating is when you make fun of yourself. >> Trump has made a good point; Nothing he's doing lately is of any humorous content, I can understand his backhanded black humor about how his enemies have been taking 'shots' at him for a long time.
