I don't believe that real acting has occurred since the invention of the Green Screen Backdrop and new visual techniques. However, inserting AI scenes of flying, car crashing, war injuries, animal attacks etc. etc. has made the movies look real, allow us to suspend disbelief, become involved and engrossed, and enjoy the moment. Personally, I haven't noticed the botox death of real acting. On a good movie, I still get trapped into the emotions and scenes (no matter the actors politics). Maybe I just choose better movies or possibly I am a sucker for a real "tear jerker". (Ha... that's why Thumper calls me "Softie")
