winter!
In my younger days, winter was for hitting the slops, and I endured some really lousy conditions in there pursuit, it was also associated with large quantities of chick-a-dees, and parties. These days, at 80, there is nothing about “winter” that I like!

So far, not to much snow, but by my standards its has already been a cold one!

last night, we had a nice “icing” under about three” of the white stuff! That could get me into a bad mood! I’m up as usual, so about 3 am I decide to check it out. I get most of the loose snow off. I won’t be able to use my preferred go to scraper, a simple credit card like tool made of plastic.

Its said to be getting colder throughout the day, down from the early morning 25f, and it’s expected to be colder tomorrow, continuing till Fri. I’m think-en, now that the suns up its time to see if I can put a dent in the those nasty iced car windows. Bummer!

I share that sentiment. I use to love snow. Now it's like the snow and I got a divorce and all the wonderful animosity that comes with one.

snow is fine with me, as long as the power doesn't go out.
severely low temps on the other hand are just unnecessary.

[I suppose one positive of cold is it could help create some
good long lasting ice skating conditions. but I still don't like it.
and I don't even skate, ...though I've wanted to pick it up.
skating wild ponds and lakes, and even rivers, looks awesome.]

2024
2024 was the hottest year on record, and hotter than most models predicted. Hotter than just increased CO2 ought to account for.
