Just a few tiny, technical points here...

Doesn't Trump draw a salary from the Federal government? Doesn't that make him an 'employee'? Then how does he justify so much time playing golf in business hours? 'Working' from Mar el Lago?

Border guards are also Federal Employees. How many of those will be sacked?

Armed Forces personnel? Perhaps he intends to privatise the Navy, and tell it to earn a profit just like the merry privateers back in Queen Elizabeth's day.

Meanwhile, all those stats you provide...

1. <Federal Employees are paid 25% less than their private sector counterparts...>

Reply = So they must be worth less, specially in the light of point 3 below.

2. <1 out of 3 Federal Employees is a veteran of the US Armed Forces...

Reply = That's just another version of DEI

3. <Federal workers are 53% more likely to have at least a bachelor's degree...120% (more than twice) as likely to have an advanced degree than private-sector workers.>

Reply = Elites sucking our tax dollars!

So the facts don't matter. What we have here is a secular version of 'Invincible Ignorance'. Most people can remove that ignorance by normal diligence and investigation, but Trumpists are simply incapable of such higher-level functions (which is why they hate 'elites').

Invincible ignorance, reminds of a quote...
It's difficult to win an argument with a smart person, and impossible to win one with a dumb person.
This, of course, can be applied to any republican maga(t), these days.
Appreciate the insights B.

Bob
Y'all's 13:10 ramble.

I don't believe the anointed, God's gift to women and America trump is classified as an employer, because he was not "hired"; he was elected to serve our country by a bunch of voters who are either idiots, fellow criminals, fellow racists, or have simply been thoroughly conned by our great, majestic POTUS, etc.

"... he was elected to serve our country by a bunch of voters...)
Nope. He was placed in that position by the manipulative felon musk and other oligarchs who are raping and reaping...

He draws a salary. Therefore he is an employee. "I know that because I have common sense!" So don't try to argue like some elitist.

Father trump's
strangest executive order yet according to experts who admit that they don't understand it's purpose.

It was signed just prior to trump's meeting with his great friend and fellow ultra-right tyrant Natanahu --- possibly as an encrypted message in my opinion.

The Executive order apparently states that if he (trump) is assassinated; that the terrorist nation of Iran is to be annihilated (Recall that Iran has a kill order out on trump that's been in place since his his first election).

Figure figure this one out boys.

Trump IS the GOP. Anyone expecting serious GOP opposition is naive. Trump simply does what they were too timid to do.

We have seen this sort of thing in Australia. It involves making a government service provider a 'corporation' owned by the government, then selling the corporation. If it had been profitable, then it was sold super-cheap to investment capital, which then put up prices as high as the market would bear. If it had not been profitable, then the 'sale' came with sweeteners, which the new owners quickly liquidated as a windfall, then warned the remaining corporation would go bankrupt unless it was subsidised. If it was allowed to fold, then the former owners immediately started up a 'new' service provider that charged whatever it wanted without being burdened by the 'minimum public service obligations' that the former corporation was obliged by law to provide.

Whatever way, the people paid more and the buyers made a killing.
