Overturning the Election
The House won't vote to overturn. Not nearly enough Senate Republicans support overturning the election. The question concerns an interpretation of the rules.

Gomer Gohmert's lawsuit against Pence (tossed) sought to force him to select the alternate set of electors, given an objection by a single congressman and single senator.

What is ridiculous is that the founding fathers never intended a sitting president should be able to dispense with unfavorable election results as Trump is trying to do.

Fighting for Us
Trump is pursuing every conceivable trick, and some inconceivable ones, to retain power. He is not fighting for us. He is fighting to evade prison.

A normal person, like Obama, graciously yields to the ballot result. H. W. Bush was a one term president, graciously yielding to Clinton. Jimmy Carter, one term, yielded to Blessed Saint Reagan.

Grace is not in Trump's lexicon. But then, the impeached president is struggling mightily to keep from ending up behind bars. He also doesn't draw a pension in prison. Coupled with the money he owes Russian loan sharks, he is facing troubling times ahead.

Novichok
One positive note, he will still enjoy secret service protection even confined to a cell. He will not likely collide with Novichok.

Russian Debt
Trump acknowledged he owes over $400,000,000 he has personally guaranteed, though refusing to say to whom. Most indications ate that since US banks refuse him credit, his debt is foreign owned, most likely held by Russia.

In truth he owes a whole lot more than that, with much of his debt of a criminal nature.

You might have to give some details before you go around saying 'debt of a criminal nature'. On what basis do you conclude that?

<It’s trump.>

That in itself is not proof of a crime.

Proof of punishment, yes, but not a crime.

This was posted in NG club
A joint statement of 11 Senators and Senators elect

www.cruz.senate.gov

It included this excerpt:

<Voter fraud has posed a persistent challenge in our elections, although its breadth and scope are disputed. By any measure, the allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes.

"And those allegations are not believed just by one individual candidate. Instead, they are widespread. Reuters/Ipsos polling, tragically, shows that 39% of Americans believe ‘the election was rigged.' That belief is held by Republicans (67%), Democrats (17%), and Independents (31%).>

So, instead of showing some evidence for the alleged crime, the statement only refers to what polls say people believe!

And this post was put up by a lawyer!
Certainly scary if even lawyers don't care about the truth, and of course Rudy Giuliani is a good example of this.

Instances of voting fraud have been consistent throughout USA's history --- there are always discovered instances of dead people voting and double voting. I believe your first quote was from Ted Cruse (<Voter fraud has posed ... ... ...>)--- he was smart and politically correct to use the phrase "consistent challenge" in his comment.

Republicans only want to test the states that Biden won, but it's likely that there are equal to more illegal votes from trump supporters because trump openly advocated double voting by his lickers.

Out of state voting is another matter --- Republicans don't like to admit that the majority of non-resident voting comes from soldiers.

Nobody's denying that mail-in voting notably exceeded all past volumes --- see as many perpetuated pandemic hoax links that you can stomach in the NG Club and use your own judgement to evaluate the reasons for the high mail-in voting turn-out in 2020.

I have no doubt that there is some fraud to be found, but - as the assessments have shown - there is nothing that would overturn the overall result - not by a long shot.

Correct, and the Georgia recounts turned-up enough errors and possible fraud votes to increase Biden's win margin by about 500.

trump's greatest legacy might be that his wild-eyed allegations might influence long overdue changes in voting regulations --- some of them Constitutional (See Electoral College rules and state rights to develop their own voting rules , etc)

Is there enough fraudulent votes to cancel the election ?
I believe more people are believing now that there is some voting fraud. How can you say that there is only small amount of fraud without proper investigation by government officials ? In Pennsylvania there is an excess of over 200,000 votes than the number of registered voters. The story is collaborated by a postal worker who brought in truckload of pre-filled ballots for Biden from NY. Those ballots should be investigated by experts. If the forged ballots are printed, you can easily differentiate from ballots filled in by hands.

The small number of fraudulent ballots that you can witness may be the tip of an iceberg which has more underneath the surface of the water. Remember the sinking of Titanic by an iceberg on its maiden voyage. Don't underestimate the skill of the very cunning thief. Unless GOP legislators demand thorough investigations of fraudulent votes, our nation will be in great jeopardy giving the power to criminals who can cause more damage to our nation.

Believing, believing! This has been investigated, votes have been counted and recounted! Courts and police have looked into it - nothing! When have you had enough?

Try to pay attention.

“I believe more people are believing now that there is some voting fraud.”

There is always some fraud.

“How can you say that there is only small amount of fraud without proper investigation by government officials ?”

We can’t. However, in this case, investigative bodies and election officials and courts have investigated and found no significant fraud. Of course, if you ignore all the investigations, court cases and experts, and listen to trump, its pretty clear why you are so deeply confused and delusional.

Why do you choose ignorance? Have you considered listening to people who know what’s going on instead of lying trump?

Are you out of your mind? Do you think Trump should now be made POTUS because so many THINK/BELIEVE that there has been such massive fraud as to deprive him of his win? Is this really what you want? Do you have ANY conscience or ANY feeling about what is right or what is wrong?
Or are you just - simply - one of the many really bad losers?

The number of bad losers now is even higher than it was in 2016, when a lot of people (also in these forums) claimed that Trump won because of the help he got from Russia/Putin.

This years model is vastly improved, with the ability to ignore concrete facts right before their eyes. ANYTHING GOES!!! The Earth is flat. Giants roamed the Earth. trump won in a landslide. Step 2: Utterly fail to offer specific evidence of widespread fraud.
Step 3: Demand investigation, on grounds that there are “unprecedented allegations”

If the 2020 election presidential election is overturned or cancelled,
pending completion of the investigation, what will happen ? Who will be in charge of the presidential position ?
I don't know the answer. My guess is as follow. Correct me if I am wrong.

1. House speaker Nancy Pelosi will become acting POTUS. She will be very proud of first woman president in US, although the position is temporary.
2. If the inquiry found out massive voter fraud, will Trump become the second term president automatically ?
3. If it is difficult to determine the massive voting fraud, can the 2020 presidential election be cancelled and start a new runoff presidential election, similar to Georgia runoffs senator election ?
4. The Deep State in collusion with Democrats are very strong and will interfere with the proper investigation of the election fraud. Therefore Trump will have no chance to win. Joe Biden will become the ultimate winner. He will march into the White House and drag Trump out of the WH by BLM as a reward.

IMHO, # 4 is the most likely scenario to happen.

I think a critical look at the facts around the alleged voter fraud / irregularities needs to be preformed in order to determine what they are actually trying to achieve!?

FACT:
There have been no credible allegations of any issues with voting that would have impacted the election, as affirmed by dozens of judges, governors, election officials, the Electoral College, the Justice Department, the Department of Homeland Security, and the US Supreme Court.

FACT:
Lawyers representing the alleged damaged party have NOT made allegations in court of fraud or alleged that fraud had taken place. The only place they make such allegation is in the court of public opinion. Why?

Fact: Trump has raised $495 million since mid-October, including a massive haul fueled by misleading appeals about election fraud. If you could make $495 Million dollars just by running your mouth would you?? In the fine print it states basically that over 60% of said monies can go to anything Trump wants, the rest goes to legal fee's and Ill ask you. How many legal fees did Trump amass BEFORE this latest and greatest court battle?

Who would have thought that someone with the moniker "Don the Con" Who has said from his own mouth...

" I love money, I'm a greedy person"

Would take advantage of peoples emotions, loyalty, and desires just to turn a profit and pay off his already exuberant legal bills!

Who would have thought that the self proclaimed " King of Debt" who always used other peoples money to leverage himself. Would con his most loyal supporters. I mean who could see this coming right?

And... the Genius is this. All he has to do is run his mouth to make $495 million dollars and he cuts his legal fees by not presenting any evidence in court, so that the case will be quickly dismissed and this saves him money!!!

He set the stage for this con a long time ago. I have to give him credit! He is great at suckering people out of their money! and then when it is time to pay the piper, he declares Bankruptcy!

Don't Discount Moscow Mitch
The president makes Supreme Court nominations, unless the senate is controlled by Mitch McConnell and the president is of the opposing party. Mitch blocked hearings for hundreds of Obama judicial nominations, and when Trump was elected proceeded to fill all those vacant posts and blame Obama for leaving the court vacant.

There are already arcane rules these boys are invoking to contest results they don't like. I would not put it past them to overturn the election one way or another. Lying, cheating, and stealing have become first nature, not second nature, to this bunch, lead by "King Con."

Real Election Fraud
In extraordinary hour-long call, Trump pressures Georgia secretary of state to recalculate the vote in his favor

Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.
The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation, in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”

Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected the president’s assertions, explaining that Trump is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that Biden’s 12,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.
