Are chess clubs another way of arguing?
Ever noticed the amount of arguments in chess clubs and it is really against G.K. rules but we still go ahead and do it... It is sometimes quite entertaining...lol

JJ from his club once mentioned that it's part of running a team smoothly. That was way back when when I also locked a different thread before everyone was demoted for a thread being unmarked for deletion. But, he explained that it's, sometimes, better to allow it because arguing is comes disagreeing which comes from difference in opinion. And, he said that the differences in opinion can be a way to settle that difference which can help run a team more smoothly. Consequently, he unlocked that thread, and I agreed with his decision for the reason that he mentioned.

I try to stay out of arguments. I don't handle them well, so unless I get called out, I stay quiet and watch from the sidelines...so if I get called out the wrong way, you'll see the fire I can breathe...I don't look forward to that day

I Like Arguing
But I only argue for the truth, never for falsehoods or against humanity.

You'll probably find it hard to believe ... but I don't shy away from an argument some can be quite healthy Religion Politics and discrimination seem to cause the most heated arguments ... I shy away from those subjects

Religion
I used to argue religion, but have since come to realize that I don't care. Which religion is the best for me is like wondering which STD I'm most comfortable contracting. Politics, however, has real world consequences. We elect a moron we delay significant action on climate science four years while caging immigrant children, busting up families, and wasting energy on a pointless vanity wall.

Argument is also how people like Einstein argue theirs' and/or another's position on theories, conjectures, miss-interpretations or more-or-less pure bullshit (see: Static Universe or donald trump ). en.wikipedia.org
