Our government seems to spend a large percentage of every press interview assuring viewers that our Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme is non-negotiable in Trump's Tariff 'negotiations'. I accept the government means what it says. It would be political suicide for them to charge patients more, and not far short of it to pay a higher wholesale price than has already been negotiated. The real fear is that Big Pharma will simply stop selling the drugs here, to satisfy Trump's demands. If that happens, expect a whole truckload of generics to be approved to replace the American version. I wouldn't be surprised if this might even include some creative re-interpretation or 'unavoidable delays in enforcement' of intellectual property rights.

All that's needed for the nuke Aircraft carriers is at-sea loaded aircraft fuel, chow, bombs, parts, mail and replacement sailors. The same goes for the nuke subs. If they could grow their own chow, keep the sub running and find a way to keep the sailors from killing each other, etc. they could stay under-water for 20-years. Not that the sub wouldn't stink big-time by then.
