The centrifugal force applied to the adapter at the moment the engine fires off will engage the rotary switch to the "lock" position, in effect turning the ratchet adapter into a "direct drive" unit. This can cause injury or damage if you try to start an engine again WITHOUT CHECKING THE DIRECTION SELECTOR! Replace pull cord. |
