![]() youtu.be Please check the above video. Usually, if I omit s from https to http, it opens easily. I don't know how to fix it. The second video is about a shooter who shot the robber who is robbing the customers with a toy gun. I think redfox can easily find out in youtube and put it in GK forum for discussion if my links do not work. Thank you. |

![]() It seems that when LS says that Ace provided all lies, he was "mistaken". ................................................................................................... Overview of Immigrant Eligibility for Federal Programs Last revised OCTOBER 2022* This table provides an overview of immigrant eligibility for the major federal public assistance programs. (Download it by clicking on the PDF icon at right.) The programs listed in the table are the following: Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Emergency Medicaid (includes labor and delivery) Full-Scope Medicaid Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Medicare “Premium-Free” Part A (hospitalization) (Eligibility based on work history.) Premium “Buy-in” Medicare HUD Public Housing and Section 8 Programs Title XX Block Grants Social Security Other Federal Public Benefits Subject to Welfare Law’s Restrictions Benefits Exempt from Welfare Law’s Restrictions Some states provide assistance to immigrants who are not eligible for federally funded services. Key terms used in the table include the following: “Qualified” immigrants are: (1) lawful permanent residents (LPRs); (2) refugees, asylees, persons granted withholding of deportation/removal, conditional entry (in effect prior to Apr. 1, 1980), or paroled into the U.S. for at least one year; (3) Cuban/Haitian entrants; (4) battered spouses and children with a pending or approved (a) self-petition for an immigrant visa, or (b) immigrant visa filed for a spouse or child by a U.S. citizen or LPR, or (c) application for cancellation of removal/suspension of deportation, whose need for benefits has a substantial connection to the battery or cruelty (parent/child of such battered child/ spouse are also “qualified”); and (5) victims of trafficking and their derivative beneficiaries who have obtained a T visa or whose application for a T visa sets forth a prima facie case. (A broader group of trafficking victims who are certified by or receive an eligibility letter from the Office of Refugee Resettlement are eligible for benefits funded or administered by federal agencies, without regard to their immigration status.) Individuals who lawfully reside in the U.S. pursuant to a Compact of Free Association (COFA) are considered “qualified” immigrants for purposes of Medicaid. www.nilc.org |

![]() You’re looking at an overview of ‘qualified’ categories. Qualified does NOT mean eligible. If you click the link to the PDF of eligibility, www.nilc.org You’ll see that the eligibility requirements exclude many, perhaps most (I don’t know the %). |

![]() "Were granted asylum or refugee status or withholding of deportation/removal, Cuban/Haitian entrant, Amerasian, victim of trafficking, or Iraqi or Afghan special immigrant status, etc. etc. All of the illegal aliens released into the USA from the border have been given "withholding of deportation/removal" status... otherwise they have been returned/deported or they are "gotaways". |

![]() Our legal immigrants are entitled to those things listed. (a lot of things) In the document I provided, that is what it says. However, it gives a list of "qualified" immigrants who are eligible to receive these benefits. “Qualified” immigrants are: (1) lawful permanent residents (LPRs); (2) refugees, asylees, persons granted withholding of deportation/removal, conditional entry (in effect prior to Apr. Notice that the list includes refugees, asylees, persons granted withholding of deportation/removal... victims of trafficking and their derivative beneficiaries... those whose need for benefits has a substantial connection to the battery or cruelty (parent/child of such battered child/spouse) etc. This means probably that every one of the illegal aliens allowed/released into the country is eligible for benefits. At least that is how I see it. |

![]() I am with you on denying social security to anyone (except children) who haven’t paid into it. But if they have FICA withholding, as many do, do you still think those legal immigrants should be denied? |

|
![]() They are not illegal if they've been released into the country. Illegal immigrants are here without any documentation. |

![]() This is one of the more blatantly false things said. I have many, many times explained to DM that I am pro immigrant and anti-illegal immigrant for many reasons... all of which hurt the USA and people here legally. He ignores the difference when he feels like attacking me. Now he wants to argue definitions of people who have been allowed into the country after they illegally crossed our border. Well argue away but everybody knows who they are and the issues we're discussing. DM is purposely misconstruing what I have said. That's his free speech kicking in that I (and millions of patriotic Americans) have fought for. But I am not required to argue his treachery and deception. And, anything Z writes about is juvenile disparagement. |

![]() Not untrue at all. I agree. But you're an analyst, dig a little deeper. What systems allowed these people to come to power? What economic and political systems have been in play the last 150 years in Central America to bring about the situation we have now? What are the external forces acting upon these countries? |

![]() The problem is for Mexicans and many Central Americans just getting a green card takes over 20 years. www.immigrationhelp.org. It then takes another 5 years to become a citizen. I’ve posted before a GOP Congressman complaining that even 25 years isn’t long enough for those immigrants. As I have said, let’s say I do what thumper claims is easy and “get in line” at age 21. After age 46 when I am hopefully ready to become a citizen, I am well into middle age well past age discrimination protection age of 40 and past much of my most productive work years and only 20 years from full retirement age before I become a citizen. Meanwhile we need young immigrants at their peak health. And of course there is no special “line” for Dreamers even though they are ready to be productive citizens. Conservatives always have a hidden agenda. Fact check everything they say and it’s obvious. |
