Skagway
I apologize for missing your comment about the "chess position" in my bio.

Zorroloco, who recently left gameknot and I play FRC/Fischer Random Chess ( also called Chess 960 ) on zoom and I was waiting for him to return so we could complete the specific set-up of the board --- Pawns are the same, but the remaining pieces are set-up randomly different according to Bobby Fischer's instructions.
The set-up requires a single numbered dice piece and one of the 960 possible start position setups is standard chess.

There is today International competition in FRC.

@Jan
I also know that the Fischer Random Chess was a direct result of this famous match between Bobby Fischer and Garry Kasporov that Fischer won which I found out is why they showed that final match between Beth Harmon and Vasily Borgov in the QG series.

Zorro and I do it on zoom or a similar interactive website.

You need a camera that's connected to your computer, a good size chess set, and we need to share email addresses and preferably telephone numbers in case something goes haywire with the connection.

After that a suitable time for both of us is needed --- a problem for me because of the move to Sun City, Az move my lady friend (Dotty) are currently working with (We've already bought a house in Sun City, but we have yet to sell either of our WV houses or our accumulated personal properties --- It's a mile/minute activity for us, but we hope to be in Az in a few months or less.

I don't use this setup because it's very advanced. And, even with the regular setup, I, sometimes get into some sort of trouble when someone plays a variation of an opening or defense that I'm not used to. And, that is to be expected at my level of experience.
